No Brasil, ela já era advogada e se dedicou por um ano fazendo pesquisas, a fim de compreender o processo para se requalificar como advogada na Austrália e exercer a profissão na terra dos cangurus. Após a chegada na Austrália, foram mais de dois anos de estudos e curso prático para então se tornar oficialmente advogada apta a exercer a profissão no novo país. Depois dessa conquista, o passo seguinte foi a aplicação para a residência permanente na Austrália. Um dos requisitos exigidos nesse processo é fazer uma prova de proficiência em inglês. A Michelle fez a prova do PTE e tirou nota maxima! A assertividade da metodologia e as técnicas de estudos que ela usou para essa prova a estimularam a desenvolver um curso próprio por meio do qual ela prepara as pessoas a fazerem a prova do PTE e conquistarem a pontuação necessária.
