#16 - Rickey Rieter. 'Buitenzuster', pelgrim en schrijfster. (S01)

Ricky Rieter: ‘Ik loop het liefst naast de paadjes’ Ook al is ze inmiddels 80 jaar, toch loopt Ricky Rieter nog honderden kilometers per jaar. Ze houdt van pelgrimages, van het onderweg zijn in binnen en buitenland, de schepping en van het zoeken van Gods aanwezigheid tijdens het lopen. Tot maart begeleidde ze Franciscaner stille retraites in Meegen, een kloostergemeenschap waar ze al tientallen jaren een band mee heeft. Als twintiger werd ze niet toegelaten tot het klooster, toch liet het klooster haar niet los. Ze werkte jaren in het onderwijs, maar vond haar bestemming in het begeleiden van de retraites. Elsbeth Gruteke praat een uur lang met haar over lopen, omgaan met rouw, stille retraites en haar wandelplannen.
