16 Vessel Unto Honor

This is message 16 in the Labour In The Church series 2 Timothy 2:20-26 Paul uses the metaphor of a great house to describe the local church, where there are both honorable (gold and silver) and dishonorable (wood and earth) vessels. The honorable vessels represent believers set apart for God's use, while dishonorable vessels represent those operating in their own strength or false believers. Paul urges believers to be vessels of honor by separating from false teaching, preparing for God's work, fleeing youthful lusts, following righteousness, avoiding foolish disputes, dealing gently with others, and focusing on soul-winning.
