#16 What You NEED to Know About Periods and Menstrual Cycles - Honoring Your Cycle

from The Vibrant Flow Podcast | Faith-Fueled Confidence, Creativity, Feminine Success, Beauty · host Johanna Mäkilä-Manninen, M.A. | Women's Coach, Speaker, Musician, Activator

This topic gets me all fired up! We as women as cyclical beings, but we're not taught or supported in embracing our nature. Instead, we try to live like men, in a linear fashion, and periods are something we're "cursed with", or it's just a burden we have to endure. A lot of this stems from cultural misconceptions and the perpetual shame around this topic. What if we learned about our cycles, the four seasons, and how we can personally support ourselves in each cycle for maximum wellbeing, joy, flow, and creativity? Wouldn't that be just wonderful? Luckily for us, I've learned that it is possible. In this episode, I discuss  - how we're not taught what should be considered as "the basics" around menstruation and our cycles - cultural attitudes towards periods - the 4 seasons of each cycle and how we can learn to tap into their own potential - learning to honor the cycle and maximizing wellbeing - the importance of knowing what's going on in your body - The pill and PMS More to come on this topic! All music is my own. 🦋Stream link to my song: https://songwhip.com/joem2/one-shot 🦋Grab free music and Vibrant Flow downloadables here: https://www.joemmusicofficial.com/subscribe Reach out and join the conversation over on Instagram: @thevibrantflowpodcast
