160: The Evidence Behind Vitamin C with Dr Ginni Mansberg from ESK - Evidence Skincare

Our guest today is Dr Ginni Mansberg from ESK - Evidence Skincare, in conversation with Beaute Industrie’s Lashana Shepherd. Dr. Ginni Mansberg has been a GP for the past 20 (plus) years, but if her voice sounds vaguely familiar, you might have seen her appear on Channel Seven’s Sunrise, Embarrassing Bodies Down under on Channel 9 or Medicine or Myth on SBS. Dr Ginni has had an incredible career so far, having finished her junior medical resident training only a week before having her first child, before pursuing a career in General Practice while having her next two children. She then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Journalism, where her career as a medical journalist turned into TV, radio, speaking and ultimately led to a career in consulting. Dr Ginni shares with Lashana her schedule these days involves consulting in strategy and communications across the healthcare industry for all sorts of health-related companies - large and small and is also the Founder of her very own skincare line: Evidence Skincare. It was in 2012 that Dr. Ginni set out to create a range of skincare that was everything that she was looking for (and nothing like what she could find on the market), working alongside doctors, dermatologists and scientists to create a range that was Evidence-based, Effective, Easy to use and most importantly, Ethical. Since then, Evidence Skincare has grown into an impressive and diverse range of skincare products which now includes her 2 new and powerful Vitamin C serums, Reverse C and C Lite.
