161. It Gets Better with Nick Calvete

This week we welcome Nick Calvete to the show. Nick is a friend from the Pure MMA community with an intriguing story about conquering life's challenges. Nick is 26 years old with a past rich with experience. At the age of 16, Nick became a father. While his friends were out playing sports and in school, Nick was preparing for fatherhood via having to work multiple jobs to support his son. Nick also touches upon his stint at an in-patient facility to defeat a bout with depression at the age of 20. Considering the circumstances, Nick never threw in the white flag, rather he rose up to the occasion and became stronger and more powerful.
