On with the show.Mike has been in construction for most of his life, he is very familiar with the construction life and now he adds cigar aficionado to his life, for the last 12 years. Why cigars? We get into the many reasons why and how it connects to construction and even if you have always wanted to but weren’t sure how to, Mike shares so many great tips. We even discuss the heath concerns so please understand we are not trying to suggest you take up cigar smoking, we are simply sharing a lifestyle and TCL has always been about sharing information, laughs, inspiration, and more, once again this podcast episode or show in general might not be for you, if not, I am totally fine with that, the thousands of listeners that listen and support this amazing construction show want more and I will always share more. Thank you.Mike begins by discussing the construction of each cigar. Cigars are made up of 5 components. Combination of 3 leaves that make up the blend, the binder which is the inner and outer of the cigar and then the wrapper which is the look of the cigar. Mike walks the listener through how to judge a cigar on firmness, or high humidity, how to cut the end with a guillotine cutter, avoid the amateur cut and achieve the perfect cut, how to properly light it and never use propane as Manny has before in social media posts, and how to draw for the first time and every time.Shared and Discussed linkshttps://www.canadiancigar.com/shop/Montecristo.htmlhttps://www.neptunecigar.com/cigars/gurkha-san-miguel-petite-corona@scollocigarsWhat an amazing show and thank you so much Mike for sharing so much information, and educating our listeners on cigars.
