Aruna Shahi is the captain of the Nepal Women's National Volleyball Team, who led the team to a gold medal in the Asian Volleyball Conference (AVC) Central Zone Senior Women's Volleyball tournament in Bangladesh, as well as winning the major championship of the Asian Volleyball Conference (AVC) Central Zone Senior Women's Volleyball tournament 2021 under her captaincy. Sadina Shrestha is the captain of Nepal's National Women's Basketball Team, who guided the team to a runner-up finish and a silver medal in the South Asian Games 2019 in Kathmandu.
