Hello, welcome to No Applause Just the Clap, the only show where our skin is Murder Baby Soft. Really? Where did that come from? That would be from Bojack Horseman.
Okay. On one of the later episodes of season three where one of the characters is like, your skin is so soft. It's like baby soft. It's like you murdered a baby and put skin on.
Your skin is murder baby soft. Jesus Christ. Oh yeah. You want to watch a comedy?
You want to feel the press during? Watch Bojack Horseman. I watched the first episode of the new season. I haven't watched it since then.
Oh really? Oh you haven't done the underwater episode? No. Oh that is the way that like Hush defined Buffy.
Like you know that weird like the No Dialogue episode or the body which had no dialogue whatsoever. Okay. I'm sorry. Yeah.
No, Hush was No Dialogue. Body was No Dialogue. Yeah the underwater episode of I think it's like episode five or six. It's right in the middle of the season of Ojack.
Okay. Is fucking phenomenal. It's once again, and it encapsulates the show but specifically this season where once again real human emotion, real human connection, real character development, like true psychological development. And you just feel so uplifted by like oh everything's going to get better and then it just crushes it.
Which I mean if you've seen the first two seasons of Bojack it's you know every time something significant is going to happen with a character it happens and then it just gets stomped by reality. Of course. Or some kind of like incidental thing. Um no this episode this season's been great.
We're gonna talk about Devin and I're gonna talk about it next week. Weird time travel stuff. Um but yeah so season three of Bojack has been great. Um I know your roommate Rochelle I brought this up that we talked about Bojack and I said yeah and she goes oh you maybe watched that.
Yeah she wasn't doing it. And I was like what you don't want to be like horribly depressed by comedy. Yeah she wasn't doing it at all. And then things are Bojack.
I wasn't like literally watching TV. Things are Bojack like you get it or you don't. Like it's not one of those like yeah it's all right. And you're like no you have real emotions during it or you don't.
And then just walk away from it. Um I don't want to get off on a um yeah I should because you haven't gotten really into it. It's a great segue into um Mr. Robot where it's one of those I was talking to a friend where he's like should I watch it?
I'm like yeah I'm like and here's the thing like Mr. Robot either you like it or you don't. Like you love it or you haven't met anyone I didn't like it. Maybe that's just speaking for the people.
I know dumb people um and dumb people are not gonna get Mr. Robot. They're not. Um especially season two.
Season one they might be able to barrel you know get through and go. Yeah all right it's like a high-tech bike club um so to speak. But season two it's like once that big reveal happened like you're either in or you're out. Like there is no in between.
There is no in between. There is no like yeah watching it like on the side like no. You're either obsessed with watching every episode as it comes out or you're holding out to binge it because you love it that much or before you hit it or music. I have a music.
My big points on is we're cut up on we're all the way through episode four at this point. So what almost halfway through the season? I don't remember having to do it this season. Either 10 or 13 or either.
I hope for 13 but I doubt it. So okay we're either we're close to halfway from. I love that at one point he's at the diner with the black friend whose name I can't remember. Leon.
Because token black guy's name is Leon that makes sense. Leon Jenkins. I know that's wrong. Don't correct me.
That's a token. Well no it's not better than token because tokens awesome. But when he looked down at the chess board and says like are you playing a game because that's not for you. Is Leon.
Yes. It's back door to freedom. So it's being beyond just another personality in his head. Absolutely.
Is he the back door to freedom if and we'll talk about later if he would have won the chess game against Christians later Mr. Robot. Is that that? What do you mean back door to freedom like between that?
What had been this exploit? I mean what Leon and Mr. Robot being the same body. Oh I got you.
You know what I mean? With that it is way to stay alive to be lost. Well the state not necessarily in control but like quote unquote in the game. The psychological game.
I can see that. And that's why he says like it's not for you. Yeah. It was very Adam.
It was very interesting that I you know. Well but I mean I don't know. Maybe he was a guy maybe that was at least way of acknowledging at least himself that he knows Leon is just another character construction in his head. I don't think he knows Leon is not real.
You don't think so? I don't think so. I think it might be I think that might be like his new conscience. So to speak.
I think it's Jiminy Cricket. I think he knows that. I think he's still going. I mean I think he has the routine and Leon is the manifestation of that routine.
But I don't think he knows that it's him. Probably just sitting on his own having odd conversation about time fell. He's talking to his therapist even says like he's talking to the viewer saying don't worry. I've got you covered.
I'm not going to tell him. I'm not going to tell him. You're not going to. Yeah.
When she asks are you speaking anyone else from your head and he even says like don't worry I'm not going to tell him you or whatever it was. I don't think he's. I don't think he does. I think the fourth wall breaking I think he knows that we're there.
Obviously Mr. Robot he talked about in that therapy section because I don't want to give him was a validation or a variation. Yeah. I don't want to give that power.
Much like a demon. So I actually unlike a demon because once you know the name you have power over them. So scratch that. Reverse it.
I did like the therapist even though he said she was wrong. Ended up being right that old chess board team was pretty much perfect example of what she said which was both these people you and Mr. Robot are part of the overall you can't annihilation is not an option. Which leads into my next point when he says annihilation is always an option and then they play the game.
It's a winner tick all chess game and it comes up I think in terms of the show like what seven times three times still me three times. Yeah. Yeah. And he even says like that happening or impossible or like astronomical like yeah.
Because he's doing he said after three moves possible possible combinations are like nine billion something that goes to some ridiculous two hundred and eighty eight million billion a thing and then like after five it's there's not a number of combinations that are then of electrons exist in the observable universe. Yeah. So that gets me to the stalemate where he's effectively playing himself obviously he's not going to win. I loved that payoff.
It reminded me of the end of the war games. What do you want to play? I don't think that though they please just all the different options in the third world. Yeah.
It would be yeah tantamount to not talk about how much this show owes to the eighties. I'm still by the way really impressed by how it's shot. The cinematography the off center wide shots still take me off guard watching it for a season and what could be a half. Every time they shoot someone like that it's still I look at it is like cinematography is such a psychological thing in terms of every character.
You have Dutch angles reverse that jingles with all that bullshit that bullshit but I mean. Because then like every day shoot it's like what are you getting at like I did like they finally had him come to I don't know like a realization of what he wants in life when he had a dream sort of I like that. You know it's worth fighting for this is what I think is worth fighting for. It's the black guy.
Leon says that. Yeah and Leon's in that dream. No no he's not. Yes he is.
Is he? Yes. He sits down at the table with everybody on us. Yeah.
I thought he was acid on that one. Nope he's he's farther to the end and he's like I knew are there too. No with the MTC but no it's Leon and the fat long hair glasses hacker the sister Angela Karel and his wife. The guy that works for the dark army that's with Darlene who he saw like getting engaged and the guy that he and so I like he broke down in the instill mountain.
Yeah I like they brought him back. I call him jumping conclusions because he looks like that guy. He does. He jumped in an occlusion.
What do you do? He jumped in conclusions. I'm kind of wondering what the hell are going to do with the wife. Is she's just kind of all over the place.
You know I thought she's just paying off the parking lot guy from the parking lot they woke up in. She's trying to get money out of the guy whose wife's a real killed. Which okay hold on let's get into that real quick. So one she's running out of money and she says I will say my husband didn't come home so probably killed your wife just released a severance package and the guy goes oh so the baby can go out alone like go alone done like fuck your baby he basically says yeah yet like when the guy's talking about the whatever the vineyards and the like once the DJ career takes off and she sounds fucking fine I was laughing.
Well we started crying I was like oh shit she's gonna kill him like that was my thought where I was like he has a beautiful vision she's gonna have to kill him to save money for said baby and then she goes I thought like all this stuff made me happy and it didn't and you're the opposite of that yeah so I'm keeping you around man toy yeah effective and then she's a blowjob yes she does. You're like I love you because you're not I don't want you to be those things you're not you can never be those things I want like and you know she swallows it's an insulting fucking conversation she has oh god yeah she was like you're effectively nothing but that's what I need right now but that's what I need because I had everything I wanted in life that didn't be happening yeah just wait until he pops back up the husband yeah like blowjobs out the door DJ out the door. This episode ended with them hacking the FBI yeah which was like the best worst way to end an episode. What are you doing?
I'm hacking the FBI. It's like literally that's that's the end of the episode so what are you doing? I'm hacking the FBI and you're like I want to know more about that because they have to find out what weird weird chick knows about everything weird chick that the agents will follow the fight. Yeah everything because they go what which is a new thing which is a new thing so there's your new there's a new MacGuffin on the things that are.
It's felt that way. Do they learn how to do laundry? Yeah they laundry data okay um it's not and the new thing was the whole UN conversation between leader of the dark army and the leader of the court did you catch the oh yeah which he makes for a sexy chick. You want yeah.
It's not the first time he's crossed it either. He could something else that he's like I he was in Oz. What do you thought we were talking about Oz earlier off air? He was one of the kind of weird training.
Training very generous. Yeah there you go. He was in something else that he played. Anyway.
But yeah it's interesting that like they're playing like when um what's the uh the adoptive daughter's name not Darlene the blonde. Angela. Angela when she's talking about like playing the long game and she's like she totally like check those two motherfuckers under the bus. She should have.
But did she because when she started talking to him and she started talking to the CEO in the car she made it sound like he fired like she got the information but then he fired him anyway. No but based on the news things or it's like things have come to light. Like I think she used it to assage her guilt but I think that like he knew the the CEO who is not um I want to say I can't think of the interest. But I want to say it's come to goo-goo it's or whatever it's crystal.
I know he's so crystal. He really is crystal in spirit. He was like yeah I can lose these fuckers. It doesn't matter.
I don't take a hit. And then um when he's talking to BD Wong he goes you have the UN stuff. Um he's like the president needs to feel more pressure. And then did he mean the president of the United States?
Yeah the president of the United States. Oh shit. I just read that as the president of. No I think the president of the United States that's why that's why the whole UN because the president could call on the UN versus in some way.
I don't know their goal. I don't know if they're in goal. So who fucking knows? That'd be weird.
But then you know that means the dark army started working with Elliot's group on purpose to get some things. You guys covered. Yep. That's fucking crazy.
As you do. Let's find hackers and use them to rebuild the United States in the form we want. Well it's the whole thing like once uh Kim was watching but it was like they said like one spy in one place can be stabilized nation more than in army. Yeah.
Like one person in the right place does the right thing does more than in a bathing army. Um Kim was watching when the backup set but um yeah Mr. Robot's been it's been something. I'm looking forward to next one.
Although I'll be in Vegas for next one. There's a Mr. Robot panel or something at that console. Oh it's gonna be DefCon?
Mother fuck. I really wanted to go to this here. Yeah. Uh next uh next Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday.
Uh next year give me the heads up. It's always the first week of August with the supply. Is it always the first week of August? That first.
That great area. Does that really want to go? Okay. It keeps getting more and more for the very year.
It's 250 bucks for a ticket now to get in the DefCon. For what three days? Four. Like three and a half.
Yeah but I can pay for three days. I've had a merry. Next year is number 25 so. It's gonna be a thing.
I'm gonna go for the 25. I missed the first one. So next year might be my last I have to fucking go. Okay.
We'll see. I mean I'm not that I would never go again. He would just be like eh I can skip it. Yeah.
Now that you're like the guy who wrote the books about everything. I'm fucking old. In that scene anyway. Um.
So you were done by the 80s earlier. I watched the show. Kind of binge watched it. Um.
Called Stranger Things. I've heard of it. It's really good. Um.
It's sort of a horror series. Or thriller series. Um. Set in 1984.
Okay. In 8384. Um. But the whole everything about it is very 80s type.
So like there's obvious things like cars and clothing and whatnot. Right. There's stuff like the logo of the series and the music of the series and like everything. I'm not in the 80s.
Um. And there's all kinds of not. I thought it was contemporary series. No.
It is contemporary. It's made. It's a modern like. No I know but I thought it was set in contemporary times.
Oh wow. Um. It's basically it's spoilers. Uh.
There's internet interdimensional travel. Not space travel but like between dimensions or I guess between realities. No. Um.
Um. Um. Um. Um.
Um. Um. Um. Um.
Um. Um. Um. Um.
Um. Um. Um. Um.
Um. Um. Um. Um.
Back up for create your business. Who I don't like about that. Um. Uh.
Uh. Uh, yeah. Uh. Um, um.
Um. Yeah. Um. Uh.
Uh. Um. Um. Uh.
Uh. Yeah, exactly. So yeah, they got a second season already. They've proved for a second season.
It's been breaking the internet. I've heard about it. Yeah, it's pretty cool. Fuck the literature.
Yeah, you just want to watch it. You'd like it. And also because speaking of Netflix, Daredevil Season 3 got approved. Well, I don't know.
They were released at the trailer. So this year will be Luke Cage. Did you see that? The trailer?
The subway side? You're nidgifying in blood. And you're like, and that's it. You're like, yeah, fuck it.
I mean, look. Exactly. How you going to talk? All the way fight?
I don't know. Because on Luke Cage, you saw Hallway fight Daredevil Hallway fight. Jessica Jones, yeah, she throws him to the window into a Hallway fight. Their plan right now is Luke Cage in September this year.
What? Yeah, September 30th. Iron Fist early next year. Defender is late next year.
I believe followed by Jessica Jones Season 2. Because what they've said is they're filming Jessica Jones Season 2 back-to-back with defenders. And the Darryl's Season 3 in Punisher. And in that, they haven't said which will come first.
They've just said Punisher is greenlit. They're going to see the three's greenlit. It'll happen. The little Punisher better be greenlit.
And then how they can fit him in. I mean, Marvel is all about, like, can we make it organic? Can we make sense? We're not going to show him in some other, like, our distinguished competition, I believe they called him.
Marvel is all about, like, can we make it organic? Can we make sense? We're not going to show him or something like some other, like, our distinguished competition, I believe they called him. Marvel is all about, like, can we make it work?
Yeah, there are. So yeah. I'm interested to see what the bad guy is on defenders. I'm kind of curious.
Like, they're setting it up like it's going to be Kingpin, but... Well, what if it's Kingpin and what if it's a series? I think Kingpin might be the face of it, but I think it's going to be Madam Gao and the whole... I think it's going to be like the Steel Dragon or whatever the Steel Serpent.
I think it's going to be a lot of the Ironfish shit. I could be... And the Hand. Or it could be something like...
Totally could be the Hand. Why did I just say that? He could also be something more like, um, sinister or six. Where it's like, I kind of wrote a...
I'm going to go on where it is. But it's actually a political corporate political. Yeah. Oh, go on.
Madam Gao, Kingpin. Some bad guy. Diamondback that comes out of... Or whoever...
And now Diamondback up. What's his name? Cutmouth that comes out of Luke Cage. Uh, and the Steel Serpent, who would be connected with Madam Gao?
I don't know what that is. Cause she's like one legged crainer or whatever. Yeah. She's Madam Crainer.
Well, it's a beautiful man. We know that. He did. He really did.
Which I'm really sad about, but you know. It's such a great kid. It's a great kid. You could have made her see him kill her.
Yeah. Yeah. He could have. With my control.
There's a lot going on there. Not time travel level, but there's a little bit of like, what you see. Like, they talk about in the Justice cartoon. What is it?
Don't believe everything you hear and believe half of what you see. Yeah. Yeah. So with my control, who knows.
But David Tennant's purple name was glorious. I mean, yeah. I'd hate to see that character wasted for just one season. I know.
I know. Um, but if it is, it's like, okay, great. It was epic. Um, I love that when we talked about it, I went, I think it was all three of us.
Having watched all Jessica Jones. Like, do you think he has that redemptive moment, like the way the kingpin does, where you're like, I'm kind of rooting for him. Like, he's doing things different, but he's still a bad guy and I get it. But like, you're like, yeah, for a second.
You're like, oh my god, he's experimenting about experimenting on by his parents. And then, oh wait, he kills everyone. And you're like, nope. Within the same episode, you're like, I feel bad.
No, he's an asshole. He's an asshole. Oh, speaking of Marvel stuff. I have a correction for you.
That you kept saying, uh, the DC, but you kept saying Chris Pratt, so Chris Pine two episodes ago. Did I? I don't know. But no, that's not it.
Um, correction's done. We were talking about Ghost Rider showing up. Gabriel Luna, I believe I said. Which is correct.
But he will not be appearing in the Netflix series. He's going to be on the Shield. Sure. Yeah.
And it's Robbie Raised is the one that they're not used. The Ghost Rider is the reason. What the hell is Robbie Raised? He's the one that, uh, let me think.
He had a paraplegic or autistic brother that he was trying to help raise. And that's where the, that's he tried using the Ghost Rider vengeance to help that somehow. And he's, I can't hear if he's the one, I think he's probably the one that's current right now too. Because there was the girl briefly, but then she ran off to wherever.
Uh, she didn't do very well, basically. Um, you talk about the girl, uh, last, uh, two weeks ago, whatever it was. Yeah, it was last week. Um, she was female for a minute and then they brought him, I think it went back to Robbie Raised.
Um, and that's who they're bringing on each of the Shield. Because of all the family relationship and they want to keep his family. That actually explains all of the, uh, teaser images from, um, Agents of Shield, the Flaming Chains. Which I thought was, oh, I see interesting.
The family connection with the guy with the Flaming Chains. Right. So, cause originally they were saying, no, it's not Ghost Rider. And then someone figured out that there was a possible inhuman, I guess, that had some sort of fiery chain.
Um, with an, a, a, a Sandio comic on there. Like, yep, Ghost Rider is someone that's Agents of Shield, um, next season. So, they haven't said win or a web or so, or anything. But, yeah.
Well, the thing is that fiery chain is not, if there's a, uh, inhuman that has that ability, that's, that doesn't directly imply Ghost Rider because it goes for it. It's like demonic possession with, zeroth or whatever it's fucking name. It will be, it will be, um, it will be a Mystic Ghost Rider. It's not gonna be weird in human.
He won't, he may palm. No, but I think that'll be Agents of Shield's, um, The Way Into Magic. In, in Fection from Dr. Strange.
They're Way Into Magic. Yeah, they're gonna use Dr. Strange as that, as that connection to the family. Because we haven't seen Magic in the Marvel Universe yet.
Nope. We've seen the subatomic levels and we've seen growth levels. Well, you could say Thor, but it's like, they say like, Magic is just science you haven't discovered yet. So, thus science, and they consider them Aliens, which, I don't want to get off my whole Asgardian Aliens.
In the Marvel, Marvel officially killed their Inhumans movie now. I've read that. It's completely off the time list. Uh, and you're gonna see the, uh, you're gonna see some of the, I think we talked about this.
We didn't talk about, but you will see some of the classics. Uh, I said it on, I said it on the episodes gonna be after this. Um, you are gonna see, um, um, weird 10 travel episodes. The ability to do classic Inhumans.
Uh, that you're gonna see some of the Inhuman royal family. Right. Now, Medusa? Probably.
Black Bull? Probably not. Lock Jaw? I would love to see Lock Jaw.
I think you need an actual, I think you actually need a movie budget. I wanna see an Inhuman dog. I need to see something. Basically, he's an alien wiener dog with teleportation powers.
Effectively. Well, they don't make him like a Chihuahua. Well, no, because he's like a- He's a giant fat. Dog.
Yeah. Um. He's like a big fat corgi. And then there's the Legion show that comes out on FX.
Uh, yes, let's totally get into that. I watched the trailer for Legion. Um, I had my issues initially and then when I saw FX, I went, okay, fucking a bit. Yeah.
Um, if it had been like ABC, I would have been like- Or even Fox. Or even Fox. Or CW. I'd have been like, uh, it can't do it justice.
But FX, I mean, so in case you're wondering what Legion is. Legion is the son of Professor X. Professor X and Gabriel Haller. Um, because why wouldn't I know that?
And his name is David in the conic. Yeah, David Zaker. Um- Did they call him Proteus at one point? No, uh, that's my retagrets.
Uh, my retagrets kid. Okay. Um, with the reality warping ability. Yeah, that's my retagrets kid.
I wasn't sure if they'd take a Legion like mutated them in the south. No, no, no, Legion is Professor X's kid. Right. Um, in the conics.
And he has multiple personality syndrome or, uh, uh, the syndrome. He's good to pray. Um, and every ability or every personality has a different power. Now, when he finally coalesces at one point- He has ability to draw on each power.
And warp reality, like Proteus. Right. There we go. At one point goes back in time to kill Magneto.
And next time he kills Professor X's own father and kick starts the age of apocalypse. One of the greatest spin-offs of comics in the 90s ever. Um, yeah. That wasn't very good.
Like, I like just like didn't do anything and then just fucked off. It was a routine. I'll give it that. Um, I don't think if certain characters are doing that one.
Like, what does Jubilee do? Steal a car and go to the mall. And then comes back. I was so excited to see her power, like, on the screen.
Do you never see on the screen? Her fucking power! That clicked. Isn't that an introduction?
In comics, she was on a mall. She was on a mall rat. She was on a mall rat. I'm like roleblades.
I'm like roleblades. Uh, uh, no Gambit founder. I think they were like shopping. Yeah.
And then it's not an attack and I think she helps. I think it literally is like what happened to cartoons. From what I'd imagine. Um, or remember, I don't remember Jubilee's first appearance.
I remember her growing as a great character in Generation, uh, Generation X. Generation X. Generation X. Um, uh, was a great comic.
I loved it. Um, they took all of the, um, like, racial stereotypes and flipped them on their heads. Um, fantastic. But, um, and also gave us, uh, penance and, and, and, and plaid.
Uh, Google it. But anyway. So, yeah, yeah. Oh, from the last time we recorded?
Yeah. Oh my god, we went out. 20 minutes early. Yeah.
So anyway, uh, Legion is Professor X's kid who has multiple personalities and drum and every, whatever, he is one of the most powerful mutants, um, on the planet. Now, behind Frank from the Richards, which won't be an issue because that's owned by the part of Fantastic Four and that probably happens. Uh, we'll get back to Marvel in the next- Fantastic. They're not gonna mess with it anymore.
Dude, after the last one? Yeah. Fuck. The Fox was smartly go.
Okay. We got X-Men. We'll give you Fantastic Four. And then if Fantastic Four isn't gonna happen for at least, what, two, three years?
Oh, if not longer. If not longer. Mm-hmm. Um, Legion, I remember Legion being in the early 90s comics.
I think it was early 90s. No. The big shock of hair. Um, it was like a Super Saiyan sometimes.
Because the hair was straight up. Yep. You're super tall and skinny? Yep.
Just saying. Super Saiyan. Um, yeah. Uh, so, I mean, we'll get rid of the hair.
That's fine. You guys need to have like the, the, the Kid and Play fucking haircut? No. Um, yeah, Brandon, we'll be able to make reference Kid and Play Legion.
Um, but uh, I like the idea of like a schizophrenic thing. He doesn't realize how powerful he is. Yeah. And they're like, is he insane or is he not insane or not insane enough?
Um, every time you, like, I think at one point, like in the trailer, he's like, it goes to like a weird, wall-y wood vision and they go, is that important? He goes, no. But like to one of his personalities, it probably is. That's how he saw him.
Yeah. My thing is like, how many characters are in the show that are him? You know what I mean? Right.
Because you've only seen him. You've seen a few other characters like the Doctor and then so forth. I've done a few of the Patience. How many of the Patience are him?
Uh, uh, you know what I mean? Yeah. Well, it's hard to take, like, take Mr. Robot's fucked up mentality and throw it into the world of humans.
The most powerful mutant. And then fragmented. Like five times. Which should be interesting.
I don't know. It's FX, so we'll see how long it goes for. Like, archer's production on a show. Archer and the American's gonna be the only two shows that really leave.
No, they have Sons of Anarchy. That's true. I don't know. There's not a lot of show on FX that like, that's Star on FX.
That was like, that was like seven seasons. Uh huh. That was like seven seasons. I never paid for that show.
I like that. Yeah, I know you guys did. I never, I just never watched it. Never had a chance.
I'm not gonna go back and watch a little episode like this. It just happened. But uh, yeah. So the, um, go into the pool.
Go into the pool. You wanna get some hair stuff? I think your other one's over here. I like your leggings.
I love them in Moonlight City. Oh, okay. I'll stay cartoon. I'm gonna go grab the whole.
Okay. Um, but yeah. So they'll be milk and smoothies later. Yes.
I'm sorry, I heard there was gonna be punch and pie. Punch and pie. Uh, so Legion, I'm extremely excited about. Um, and being that one time it's a different take on mutants.
Yeah. Um, X-Men pretty much, I wouldn't say flatlined, but I would say, kind of plateau with like, okay, X movies you know to expect. Yeah. Give or take.
And then Deadpool, Game Changer, Game Changer, which we'll talk about already, comic movies eventually. Uh, but Deadpool's a game changer. And I think Legion's not a game changer, but I think it's a different facet where they go. We'll see what happens.
We'll see what happens. We can play. We can play. In an adult way.
You know what I mean? I think it's something like. I think it's something very cool, like a more dollhouse-ish. Yes.
Yes. Yes. Which I like dolls. I know I didn't see it.
I thought it was great. I was kind of like, there are parts and second season where I'm like. Yeah. Well, and then also the third season was, okay, there's our last one with the blowout.
There's only two seasons. Well, that's the second half of the second season. Um, now it's the middle half of the second season. Once I get to putting them in the dollhouse.
Right. And it's a future. And in the future. Well, that's every finale is part one, part two.
What's it? Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. But it's like, slow bell on the second season, it's like, slow bell, slow bell.
Slow bell. We're gonna put you in the dollhouse. Like, what was it called? The attic.
And it's like, oh, we can access all this shit. And then, Elfo's a good guy. Then it like, totally takes off. Yeah.
Like, once again, sorry Fox killed a great show. It killed on so many places at that second season. I loved all of us. But one thing with Whedon, it takes like two, three seasons to get legs on it.
Fox doesn't wait that long for anything. Nude. Well, it would now, like, if Whedon came to him and said, I have the next great show. I don't know if we don't ever go back to Fox.
It won't. He won't. You know, he did say you would come back to Marvel for a Black Widow movie. Mm.
I would watch this shit out of that. I would do. What else you got? Let's see, we finished Legion.
I've got some notes on... Creature? Yeah, we'll just go with the top of characters. Yeah.
Creature's got one episode left. And here's what happened last episode, definitely. Emily, the girl who's in love with Jessie, who he will never be in love with because it's not too lip. I said last week, or two weeks ago, that the unsettling beating of the dog, the Cassidy.
Oh, yeah. I mean, Emily is like, I have to go, like, take care of my kids, go to the church thing, and then delegates feeding Cassidy to... Oh, no, I'm sorry. Then, uh, to look, uh, delegates feeding Cassidy to Emily.
Right. So Emily feeds her boyfriend, the mayor. Oh, that's right. At which point they know that it's most of another body.
Which works out in the end, which we'll get to. Yeah. But like, he's like, what's down the stairs? Aah!
And I'm like, you just killed the mayor. Like, you just fed Cassidy the mayor. Um, the shot of Cassidy feeding... Very nice, but the first layer of reference there.
