About Peter: For the last 16 years Pete Johnson has been at the forefront of the polyurea floor coatings industry in product development and technical support. As the first employee at Citadel Floors, blending polyurea and providing technical support, and later as the General Manager and Trainer at Penntek Industrial Coatings Pete has the experience and network to find the very best chemists in the industry and collaborate to develop products that have outperformed the rest. Pete is nationally known for his robust, hands-on training and reliable tech support.  Over the years he's trained and supported thousands of people on new products and business development. Currently Pete is the CEO of a new (opened in aug 2020) company Valence Protective Coatings. Valence is a one stop shop for everything decorative concrete related including monthly installation training and workshops that Pete teaches. Valence will never claim to be a manufacturer; we pride ourselves on having the flexibility of using a myriad of manufacturers to toll-blend our products in order to keep the quality high, competative pricing, and most of all to help diminish the impact of supply issues by spreading our blends across multiple manufacturers. Our core values really are Honestly, Integrity, Passion and Innovation. Pete lives these values everyday by giving back to his customers to help them build a small business.
