Hvordan var det egentlig at være Paul McCartney efter The Beatles? Og hvordan var det at starte forfra på jagten efter ny succes i nye klæder? Det er omdrejningspunkterne i den nye film, Man On The run, instrueret af Morgan Neville. Den to timer lange film fortæller historien om hvordan Paul efter Beatles-bruddet rejste sig, væltede omkuld og rejste sig igen – især med hjælp fra Linda McCartney – og en god gang stædighed. I denne episode er Andreas Smedegaard med for at tale om filmen, der på optagetidspunktet blot havde været ude i to døgn. På moderne dansk hedder disciplinen en "Instant Reaction" – episode. Og det er lige præcis hvad det er. Friske tanker om en frisk film. Andreas og jeg kender hinanden rigtig godt. Nok mest pga. Paul McCartney. I starten af 90´erne tilbragte vi mange skønne aftener i selskab med rødvin, pop corn og McCartney - og udover at vi har spillet i band sammen, har McCartney og The Beatles altid været et herligt omdrejningspunkt for os.  Heldigvis er Andreas fast medvirkende i "Elsker The Beatles" - og han var frisk på præmissen om at komme med sine helt umiddelbare reaktioner til glæde for mig og forhåbentlig dig der lytter med. Det er altså en brandvarm episode, så der er ikke meget musik i den.
