Let's play the theme tune. Hello and welcome to another episode of TurboTable. This week I'm drawing by two people. We've got Oli, Smithy, and Isaac.
Hi, I'm Muzzy. Hello. We're at Davis Lake, right around the corner. It's currently Alveo this weekend.
I don't know who's winning it or what. Or who's looking twicey, I think. I think Orcs will have a good match, but I imagine it'll be catch-based means out on our own echron's the winner. Yeah, probably chaos.
But the Davis Lake is coming out probably Thursday, and we're going to make some predictions, and we'll see how true they are. So we'll get into it. Probably not very. Probably not.
Do you want to do personal pet factions first and then go into a wider meta-commentary? Yeah, so we'll start off with Deathguard then in that case. So I don't think the Deathguard are going to get affected at all, really. Like, directly, I think Tifus might go up in points, because I don't think Games Workshop ever expected anyone to run Tifus solo, just to deploy Teleport owners and just absorb shots, which were 100 points on a little 40-mill base.
He can just come in anyway. The same way it boy in the orchestra. Just to jump himself. Yeah, well, he actually just blow himself up.
He can do the chaos sorcerer in turn their armory chaos as well. Yeah. So I don't think they're going to see much there. They're sitting pretty.
I've got the mayor watch here. Hang on, hang on. Look at that. No changes.
Yeah. We're good. Why does it like the comp Deathguard list look like? They're all running like a wall dog.
I think a lot of them are. Yeah. It's like a triple rhino, lots of playcans and then kind of whatever you want. It's, if you want to go down the like triple plague bow and you can, but you can untaken lots of demon engines.
I think it'll do all right. The one thing that needs to be clarified is the Mortarian ability, because the FAQ from the World Championships ruled it, how no one wants it to be ruled. By all you mean to have got those? And also like what are the, what's the character from Castodis?
Oh, character? Yeah. Where it only affects top line stats, like his movement, which other than a fucking Doom spinner, nothing is that, he doesn't care about that. It's about like armor of contempt and indirect and the weapon stats, which according to that FAQ, he can't ignore.
Rules as written are the FAQ is right, because it's a model of characteristics and a weapons characteristic. Yeah, it's like, you change the wording as well. Yeah, is it all encompassing though? Because the model has a weapon.
Yeah, the weapons are interchangeable. Yeah. Yeah. There's still, I think it's gonna be ruled against the model of life.
Let me have photos. But I think that's all the Deathguard can expect. Was he? Is there anything for?
Well, two of my pet factions are currently bottom of the list being Castodis and Drickari. I reckon Castodis are gonna see some minor changes, probably points wise, because they just don't know what else to do with them until they get their gobacks. Yeah. Mean points if the squad sizes get changed again.
But otherwise, I think that's all they'll see, because they're in that really tough spot, right? With the mortal wound to change it, as that kind of just screwed their identity in their data site over the grid. Yeah. So they're kind of just stuck in that weird.
Have they said one their gobacks has come out? I think they have an absolute now, actually. I think it's one of the ones this year. I think it's in the pipeline sort of thing.
Yeah. Hopefully, when that comes out, they have fixed it to ignore like a devil's or... Hopefully, yeah. And some of the other issues post options that people just go, I'll just ignore this one and use that.
Just those are at Orcs. There you go. Yeah. Cool.
And then Drickari, I don't know, they just don't know what they don't know what they're doing. But I don't think there are any changes they can make in their parents' sake to make them playable. Like they can drop points again, but you're already needing a small van to bring a 2K army. But Drickari, so...
Yeah. I think they're a new unit. So like, what are they lacking? Subimability, really, I think.
Like, they're... It's like the Harlequin's thing, just two glass cannons. Yeah, the powerful pain rule is really cool. Like, when it came out on paper, it looked great.
But the problem is they're just so paper thin. It's really hard to do it. And you have that one great alpha strike. And if you guard against the faction, that's just, I'm all rerolls, two plus saves.
You're like, well, I guess I die. Thank you. Let's go of these. Yeah.
Yeah, they're all great much. Anyone else? Yeah, I was at chaos. Here we go.
Yeah. I think chaos, basically, I think, really, naturally, got a bit from the last day of site. Work is so, it's got a bit of a nerf. Well, I got a big nerf.
And then, kind of the people that were, I said, big nerf and nerf, for although the people that were praying on chaos vanished as top factions. And chaos became the melee faction. But also, with the 14-inch obliterators, a really pretty good shooting faction as well. The points drops they brought in to internally balance the codecs were chosen from Lords, which people just weren't running, have met that now, everyone's running them.
And they're really good, particularly with the 1CB straff for hit and win three rolls for Mark and Divide units. So those big chosen blobs with Lords, you've got two units on the board that are getting four rerolls taking wounds, which is quite spicy. The accursed cultists are clearly a bit of an issue. They need to go up in points.
I think the big hammer would be preventing dark communes from joining them if they really wanted to nerf them. I think that would be a shame from a dramatic point, because it is called, to have your kind of drippling, dripply boys being led by some sort of demonic, you know, like to herd up around that thing. Yeah, so it would be a real shame if that's what the hammer felt. I think putting up four-chreens of obliterators again was just rendered on playable, because they already went up by like 20 points each in the last day.
That's really the field manual. Something pushing them up even more. I think what they really need to do is to kind of encourage you to take other options. A lot of people aren't running the 12-litre rates, or the two blocks or four anymore.
And four-chreens seems to be dropping down to about one list rather than the three that we had at one point. I'd like to see Abadon come down points-wise. He went up and he's not seen play really. People are not running cast-down, and it is not running Abadon where it was a staple at the start of 10th edition.
Abadon's being ran as a solo lunatic if any army is running around. He's just running around jumping out between one thing. I think I'd like to see Abadon maybe come down back to where he was. He's only about 20-30 points.
Currently, he's going to be 20-30 points. He's about 3-10-3-20. He's not the Abadon of Knight's edition. He's not a one-man army.
He's still very good objectively, and he's a good sports multiplier. But he just needs, I think, to be usable again in the way that he was meant to be used to not running in the five-leashion resus, I need five body stops and wounds to drop him into LA so that he can kill one big unit. I think that they definitely figure them out. They're not winning five, six tournaments a weekend anymore.
I think last week they won one. They are dropping in the win percentage. I think it's about 53 games. I think it's about 53 games.
I think you're back on it 54. Yeah. So they're obviously still a bit in the danger spot, but I think it needs to be more of an internal tweaks rather than heavy nerves. You want to make some of the leads, straight to guardsmen, more of fiends, you'll have it, some more appealing so that you're not just rushing straight into the living arms with their threates and forge fiends and cursed cultists.
Yeah, you can't do it with two heavier hands. Yeah, otherwise they become unplayable. They've got a code extra on the corner in a month or two probably. So they might actually remain.
They might just stay untouched and G.W. Be quite happy to let it ride out until the code extra. Because they are just after the custodes. So they might do that.
Yeah. And then the only other faction I play is Dark Angels who are doing the third X. I'm not doing the only one that. The only, I think, decks like Change, they could make the Dark Angels would be, as Molly said, the Custodes, the way that Mortal Winds worked.
If they check, because the Watches and the Dark could give you a Fort feel no pain. Wants by a game against Mortal Woons. There aren't really any Mortal Woons in the game. They're mass anymore unless you're talking like a Grey Nut Librarian.
So changing that to a five foot feel no pain once per turn. So I get four ups of press against every wounds, but just tweaking a little bit so those Watches and the Dark and the Lion with his Fort feel no pain. And I'm not going to see playing on the one tank shop you're going to see in a game. I think that's the only tweak I would really suggest Dark Angels.
And that's not from a balancing point of view. It's just so that a cool unit thing has a function again, not just the. Yeah. And there's a sort of a 50 faction and that's a 50 faction.
Not using their detection rule that having to use Gladius, Vanguard or occasionally the Firestorm. Lion Storm, the Dreadnaught one. Oh, yeah. So I just want to see them playable with their own attachment rules and that's going to be happening.
Okay, that's going to get really hurt. Perfect. Yeah, so the kind of three factions I've been making lately, Stace Wolves, GCL Colson Chaos Knight are actually sitting kind of healthy. Yeah, they're all at like 4950.
Yeah, exactly. So I think I'm hoping to see something, like I mentioned, changes to how feeling of pain against mortal wounds are done. Because it seems to be, again, a lot of that just knocking out a unit ability to mitigate any damage that it usually could. So whether or not they will change their wounds to be okay, it will count as a mortal wound for the purpose of feel no pain, but you still take all of that damage on a single model.
Yeah, which would be a simple way around that, I guess. Yeah. Yeah, otherwise I don't know. I think I'm wondering if we'll see a change to the limitation on only being able to use back-attack systems for free.
Because as we used to do with the Necron Codex, we were talking about this the other day where there's the one that attachment has like no useful battle tactics. And another one has like two thirds of it. Shrash, two-thirds of it's a battle tactics and they're all incredible. And as we said, the, the, uh, conoptic court, that one to cause their wounds has already been changed because you could just stick a lord with a, uh, crit tech unit with mortals and use that twice in a turn.
Yeah. It was a bit oppressive. And again, that's saying going back to their wounds, not mortal wounds, even stuff with a feeling of pain against mortals can be countering. Yeah.
There's a couple of just generic rules that they need to change, right? Yeah. I think it's like we've been saying it's all been very sort of like, make sure the rules are out there and then kind of stick a plaster on it as it's been going along and they're going to figure out what works, what doesn't, and hopefully with these codexes coming out, we'll start seeing a bit more balance. Yeah.
So, yeah, it's about time as well with the, with the dates late, obviously six months ago, there were no, just the marine and two and a codex. Yeah. So now that they're out there, they can undo some of the changes they've done. That's it.
I mean, you know, six or five, six, whatever it is, new attachments for Necron, same with, it's a lot more balancing to sort of work around. Yeah. But yeah, I think that's, that's kind of what I'm expecting beyond the obvious stuff which we're going to mention with, uh, Barry. Yeah.
So, Ollie, your, your orcs, your green boys. I think they're in a very decent healthy spot in the minute. I think I don't know, but 53% of the game is right. Yeah.
Um, the only thing I can see is like 90% of lists are in Moz Rog, flash kits, Captain Badrock and a big sword, square, god boys. I can see them getting points increases just because they are, they are too efficient. Sure. My game on Thursday, I was playing against Taoh, Moz Rog sat in the middle of the board, he doesn't have stealth, he's just got stats.
He sat there and took the shooting from two, three man squads of crisis suits, a squad of breaches, tetras and a broadside, which was a life at the end of it. And so he finally died on Overwatch. Many charge on the squad's crisis suits, so he's 190ish points at the minute and he blanked a thousand points worth of shooting easily. Like, that's, that's not healthy.
Um, the flash gets in Badrock, um, they're pretty much a point of the lead unit, um, especially when you've gotten them out of the transport, you've got the lethal hits. Um, I think the best I've seen was I hit 53 hits out of a squad of 10, which, there's only only half 40 shots. So I mean, with all the re-rolls and everything, that's quite impressive. Um, so I can see them getting a point tight and again, the swift hop boys are better terminators, T7, three wounds.
Um, if you're playing it right, five up in-volve, five up in on a pain and they move 10 inches. Yeah. Yeah. I've got a terminus.
I wish they would. They'll go pretty much out of the middle. So I can see them getting hyped up as well. Yeah.
Uh, otherwise I don't think there's any like rules changes or stat line changes that they need to see. I think it can be fixed with points. Um, we've just had a text from Steve in the top 16 for L. Okay.
Well, there we go. L. Dari, this is the ceiling. L.
Dari number one chaos number two, Necrons number three, Astrum and Al-Dari, Leagues of Votan, Leagues of Votan, Black Damblers, Raven Guard, um, High Fleet Hydra, Blood Angels, A Depth of Surotas, um, face and R.E., Necrons, Tower, Grey Knights, Leagues of Votan and Chaos Space Marines. So Leagues of Votan, I think, putting in Leagues of Votan and Eldar, putting in the highest number of spots, Chaos in second and and last at the top, 3rd top 18, not top 16, but actually quite diverse. Yeah. I was surprised to see Tower in there, and I was always kind of complaining that he was like, he is the Tower Man.
He's played Tower since they came out and done well with them consistently. Um, it's nice that, er, Eldar, er, in Top City though, because that leads us quite nicely into my patented, what I think should happen. So I think so far they've only seen Pontics. Fantastic, I'm sorry, Nerf.
Fantastic, I'm sorry, Nerf, and er, Faketi's sort of a little Nerf, but not a real Nerf. Like a... Well, it's a once per phase, I think it was more of a side grade but it was a power redistribution. But...
Of an insane ability. Erm, the Knight Spinner, one of their key units, er, with a dimweaver, we were talking about this just before we started. I think the only way to fix that is by removing something from it. So for anyone who doesn't know, it's a 48-inch range in direct fire.
D6 plus 3 shots, hits on threes, strength 7, damage 2, blast, dead wounds, twin linked, and if it hits, it's loaded by two inches. It's within half a wound you. So it's averaging 6 to 7 shots, erm, each time it fires, that's if it's getting nothing from blast, and on a three up it's probably going to hit you unless they roll real cold, and then you just can't move. It's the anti-cursor, full-fistic gun.
Yeah, well, terminators that move 5 bit, you shoot them, you just can't move 3 inches. What are you going to do? My terminators would move 2. Yeah, they'd be good.
That point is just out of game. Like it's going nowhere. You need to kill them, they kill themselves. Because it's also blast, strength 7, damage 2, twin linked, we'll see if it, er, no, it'd be.
It's the only thing you can do as a car. It also just wipes out traffic units. So your little scoring unit, like you're Gretchen or you're nurglings or whatever, you've got on an objective somewhere, they're just dying. And that's because they're moving to zero when they're dead.
So I think it needs to lose either some of the lethality. I'd rather see it lose the lethality with control because the control aspect is more interesting. It stops you from advancing as well. It stops you from advancing as well.
Stop reaching. Oh, I'm going to get out of that. You're going to get out of reading. Yeah, so make it strength 4, damage 1.
And then it's fine. It still kills, it still kills like your little toughness 3, clear units that are starting an objective. Fine. It can do that because they're not moving anyway.
Or if you need it to slow something down, or you have to do this hit, that's fine. But it can't, it can't have it all. I think that you slowing something down, if you hit a mechanic, works if your gun has like 2 or 3 shots where you, there's a good chance of this, but not when you're going. Oh, that's a unit of 21, because it's called a 4 shots, D6 plus 3.
I'm at like 13 shots already. I was in direct but I've still hit with 7 of them. Yeah, and then straight 7 twin linked. So you're winning them, pretty much all infantry, you're winning on 300.
So you're going to be facing there to make these 6 shots, 6 shots. Yeah. It's just, it's with the 40 in range as well. Like again, if that was like 18 or 24, you can kind of get it.
Okay, not so bad. So yeah, something has got to be changed on the actual world, because Eldar and Dura are codecs for a long time. I think they'll probably get points increases rather than. Yeah, which is a shame because like how many points is, how many points is enough to make that not efficient?
Like we were saying before we started, right? Eldar aren't massively overpowered in one particular area, but everything's really efficient for what it is. So you nerf one thing, Eldar players just go, okay, we'll take the next. We've chaos internally though, quite unbalanced.
Eldar, internally, everything's quite well balanced. It's all around the sort of the middle marker power, but actually, everything's good. So when you nerf one thing, like the next thing, just stops it. Chaos is from, was, you know, some standout stuff that everyone was taking.
And then they went, oh, like them to take other things, and they made the other good options cheaper rather than going, let's increase the stuff everyone's taking and see how it goes. They dropped down the good stuff that was just not as good as the great stuff. So you ended up with 100, I think it's 110 points for unit chosen, or 100 points. So you're talking about 10 points for legionaries, you've got three wombs, which makes them absurdly efficient.
Most things in the game know about 82, so you don't even want to say it because you're a fight up, you know, an old term that you're involved. And then they will cane anything they fight in melee, because they, once AP or free with your lord, full hits and wins rerolls, six has explode. They're absurdly efficient for what they are. And they should be cool because they're chosen warriors of the long war, but they shouldn't be 110 points for it.
I'm going to murder a squad terminate, it's cool. Yeah. I think Eldar saw a bit of a nerf indirectly from the last day of the late, where it was towering units over watch. And that's not what people bring in, is that what it is?
Yeah. So maybe there'll be another, like, just game rebalance. I would like to see that rule reversed. He probably is a selfish chaos knight to play that.
Like, with things like that, that blanket change removed a couple of units altogether from chaos knights, right? The tyrant with the big dark flame cannon or whatever is called was worth taking for once in competitive chaos knights, which is great, you'll have to see it, and then they change it so they can't have watch it as use us again. And the gorgeous new thrash this night with the big flame cannon, they've got to take that, because it's one gun, it does nothing. So, like, with rules like that, you could include it on the date sheet for the...
Yeah. That's the other one, right? And then remove that problem altogether. It's like, this unit can't have watch.
Yeah, because it wasn't problematic for... No, that's the only problem with the titan you've been able to watch was the Ray fight. Yeah. And everything else.
And the terrain visibility as well, kind of really helps. I think that's now in a really good place of fields so much better today. Well, you got penalised for some period lights that are doing well as well. It wasn't a top dogs at the start of the edition where...
Because those are pretty good. Al-Dari Wrensane, Jean Cilicots were really good. Imperial lights are really good. Oh, Imperial lights are a problem.
That's just a lot of Titanic units and chaos knights were sitting there. But now they make the right nerf to Imperial. I think it's a good time to undo... So, yeah.
Sorry, cool. Something I was really weird about the Titanic rules in general is that they can move over ruins at four inches in height, but none of the standard ruins are four inches in height apart from one of the ones you can move over anyway. Just change the word into the rule, they can move over ruins. So, clearly what it's intended to do.
Yeah, they say four inches, but then in the games workshop, tournament pack, it's like these ruins are over four inches. They say... Parnot, ITC, haven't they? Yes.
Because ITC use different terrain layouts, is that correct? It's basically the UKTC, which is the smaller ruins. Yeah, smaller... it's just out changed really.
So, the smaller ones and then... Classic Knight Edition, two thirds. Yeah. And then you both sides will have one of those giant ones typically.
It will be interesting to see if the data's laid is impacted by that partnership. Because if you've got less of the GW terrain with the two inch ruins that monsters, mountains, and cetera can go over, in tournament buy. I think that partnership's happened too recently. Yeah, I'm moving forward.
When you've got units like Angron, Mautarium, the lion, you sort of your augment the units. They're going to take weeks to navigate some of these boards. Yeah. And that's Frank God, God's God's entry.
Yeah, they've got the ones, but you know, the lion doesn't see play anyway. He's not going to see play. Now he's got a bit of an effort, and he's going to walk around every ruin on the table and keep his three inch, you know, tapping into a unit to maintain his load up. And if that was a rule, it would turn me a knight can't bust through a wall.
That's what they do. They walk through a building while they're shooting the guys on the other side of it. Yeah, although obviously we're then removed from the night of shape, I think it's straight. Yeah, because we're the better ones.
Yeah, which is just sort of a real short shadow phase through anything. Which is the Imperial night, don't get it. Exactly. You almost want to have like a monster's can move through ruins, but they lose two inches.
So they'll have to advance or something because you need to have my mens on the hindi. Oh, yeah. You've got to charge through the wall. The magic rule, Jane.
Go with that. There's a line in the forest and a line punches somebody and he says it's like punching steel, but the line punches steel before. And the steel has come off worse. And you're not like that.
He's not going to look at a ruining, though. Oh, but it's not him. It's just like a watch. I can't climb through the window too short.
It's just a find-a-way. A lot of the architecture can't be damaged. You're right. Look at the crown rolling.
A row of ceilings. Yeah. I've always thought that was silly. Like, it's like, I'm just going to walk over three round above.
So they're going to nice right. I'm not making that up. They could just walk through ruins. This is a vehicle that's going to go through ruins.
Yeah. I'm sure they could. I've never seen you. That's a long time ago.
I'm not mad. A generic change I want to see is the battle shock because it's just lame at the moment. It's for a special ring. And it doesn't have a huge effect.
It only comes up when you need a control and objective and chances are it's like, I need to pass it so I can control that and sort of the points. I'll just do the one through a game and roll with it. So you have to see P now, and you have to use it before you roll. Yeah.
That's much better. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I try to make a whole bunch of things out.
I say to one part of the game, I think, actually is what the position is, because I've had some games where battle shock is actually made all the difference, but it seems to be nothing or everything that's never that. It's just kind of boring. But the tyranny of it uses it quite well where you want to earn where you force everything in their army to take battle of shock test and then you can go for the objectives where they failed. Yeah.
But most of the time, like, everything's so lethal that you unit this below half strength. Oh, great. The one character that was leading that unit is battle shocked. something.
Like you've got no sound kind of yeah plucking in something hope he does anything. The change I want to see is how long it lasts when you are about was shot because if you if you battle shot something in your turn and you haven't dropped it down to below half strength they just automatically pass. I think if you fail it you have to retake it until you pass again. Yeah like heresy to be, I mean I don't know if it's a heresy game on Thursday and one of my 20 block of Marines was just battle shot to like three turns right away back.
Yeah exactly and again there's that recovery that you have to try and do but yeah well they incorporate again you lose combat you and you have the wins that you lost by to the leadership role you were really leadership role because that was the old that's all night for else. That's the promise they ran away. Like you just point guard you lose six models that's it. But if this was just said you just snake that's what you're saying.
It's a fifth edition that when they you rolled to see how far your unit ran away and then your opponent rolled chase. It's actually yeah it's rolled further. Yeah it was like back and forth but like it was the continuous battle shot because you didn't make it unit just kept running backwards. That's it which I get the the one team obviously don't want the game system to be exactly the same otherwise then there's very little points in hand to have a role set but it's maybe borrowing just a little bit.
It would be a buff to other armies as well like Tyrion is a little bit of both dark angels that unforgiven whole under him task force attachment it's about like you battle shot for me I don't care I'm still on the objective. I'm OC3 still because I've got my standard and not just that out of my captain in my unit here he's got a relic and that relic when he's battle shot. Yeah I've got a four up field no pain he's got you know he's got to actually strengthen an attack in because we've got a grim resolve but that whole detachment falls apart because your space running leadership six the lines leadership five no one is failing battle shot contests very often in your own. The entire index is seven plus.
Yeah but even I think that the gradients there of like a space running is leadership six and a guard's in a position seven. A space running knows no fear and they're only slightly raised within a guard's in the game. Yeah it's a 2d6 role as well so it's not even that exclusive this is a 1d6 role like and a d6 and have an option so we're quite limited there you could be leadership 10. Yeah yeah I like the what happens when you fail it it's just the rest of it I think needs a little tweak but is there anything else that you think like generically you need a change?
I think I don't know what the change is being so I feel like everything is saying something needs to be done about feeling like feel my pains in multi-willing units because it's take a long time. I don't know how you fix the problem. Stop handing them out so we'll immediately give every unit a feel no pain and then the problem goes away but hopefully in Codex it's obviously like less sporadic feel no pains on units to make them seem tougher. Yeah like a beast nine boys one wing units with a six up feel no pain so it barely does anything but you have to roll it because if you survive then great but most of the time you're like I need double sixes yeah but at least those ones you can like roll a bunch of them together yeah yeah it's when they're two wounds and three-win models with characters they have different stuff going on.
It goes across through an example because it's in Gretchen units you have a runner who is t5 but whilst he's in the unit he's t2 so why not in mixed profile units I think drones in ninth edition did it for tell you just use the profile of the one most most most alright yeah so you just yeah whereas now it's the character has to use the toughness of the unit he joins doesn't he? Yeah so I'd first call it about what they're all t4 but they've got different strength profiles from the wounds profiles so the problem is that you play well by judging on I think it would have you know a damage six gun that's going on my one wing guy so he's gonna fail he's gonna pass a first fight with him but I can take six feel on the fence very quickly he's dead but he's gonna be for one damage gun that's going on the three wounds guy so it doesn't lend itself to quit play and you should generally need more of standardized like this is how to do it not a I have to watch three or six tactics videos you know the bad guy tactics videos trying to figure out how to speed roll like it's a similar thing to the um it's gone now because it's gone out the warrior blob in neurons but it just takes so long to do all of your saves or the 20 man crusader blob in 10 plaz yeah where they've got the knee of fights mixed in it's just like the process of allocating the wounds making the saves doing the feeling of things room models are alright that's the next sequence of attacks that the tournament went to I literally had a guy timeout because my activation to shoot his warriors to contend with the time they took in to make saves and then I think the best the best way I seem to do it is slow roll the saves but don't roll with your little pains yet so roll on your saves like once you're first you know 10 12 yeah and then it's two damage take your two dice and go first one right he's still alive elite right he's dead and you worked your way down that line yeah so it's sequentially you can be like I'm gonna start on the little guys um and I'll work on to the big guys in the first of cultists or whatever and you kind of bomb your way down the line until you pass or fail enough that the unit's gone but again that's not something that if you're new to the game you can also quick up but it's not fast right like you're still rolling for individual models in unit time why should we sensible I guess but let's face it a lot of what I'm playing on so I mean you know the fastest way to even do it would be rather than saying you take a feeling of pain for it's not good not good things just to be clear but rather feeling pain is you be real safe so it's not great in terms of if you've got a two-up arm and you're re-rung a two-up arm and say that makes you all alone and killable but at least you've got eight or you're real safe with minus two to the roll something like that so that you're not having to go that's a six damage going I'm rolling six dice but then it doesn't do to those big damage guns and like the five weeks and something but at least then it's quick it's I failed the roll I reroll I've rolled the five I needed a three instead but it's again it just it doesn't sit right but still quick I don't think it's just in combination with mixed profile units it just makes it slow that in that line and experience players yeah I also don't have to fix that so hopefully we've been in a workshop having partnered with ITC and best-go-spareans as well I hope there's some kind of like tournament organizer judge information sharing kind of just like program or something like and have a step-by-step thing have you ever seen the the Pokemon there is for the judges an actual breakdown of the attack sequence which in Pokemon it's really fucking easy like a generic oh just attack do damage is it dead cool it's got there's so many steps that all these little cards that sometimes have an interaction with but they've officially put this out and you can access it you can break it down there needs to be actual things like that for like filming pains proper FAQ you have like there's not being a proper effect you can tend to get the tidies up so many but we don't we got a long conversation about can you disembark once you arrive from reserves and rules written you can it feels like you may be wanting the intent but you can the world championship said you can't but technically you can unless you're using one mission the world championships things that you can be can't charge obviously you can disembark charge I'll be for the later but yeah it's a mess yeah I guess it's because competitive has really only been taken seriously by GW since like end of nine things it's like 10th is the real first competitive edition the better or worse the the world championships that happened quite a couple months ago yeah and that was the first real GW we're taking over the things seriously oh no they can't disembark and we'll try to be real sorry yeah our embark units able to disembark no fair enough yeah so it's not the new system yeah if they don't mention anything if it's not in the really worthy rules country then which makes things more convoluted but the shooting phase ones are the worst then we'll just go wild but the did you read the article where games were up say on the one community website that they're partnering with these places there's going to be a path to world championships so like because it's all got to be not necessarily controlled by them but part of them they can internally track you and you might get an invite to the world championships that's cool rather than winning one of their things and getting a golden ticket but but they haven't suggested any metric by which that'll happen yeah or not like they literally just said what we've really judged yeah obviously going from the world of card games the magic gathering used to have a really clear path to getting to worlds and they're like oh we're going to be more Lucy Lucy with it because we want to be able to invite influencers and streamers and everyone hated it and then someone who did a special but hey here's a game they're really going to have to install the competitors to see the way from MTG so it'd be nice obviously it's only based on this is criticism it'd be I'm looking forward to seeing that yeah it'd be nice to see some kind of organized play at a store level yeah like you have in TCG they said it like the tournament kits that they supply are going to be better and easier to run out of it they're really quite nice to start the challenge like yeah hopefully this is a good one this isn't the criticism no no 100% yeah they're gonna be uh from what I can go uh taking the uh iTC standings bring it to bcp and it's all going to be in one place because the problem with best goes parents at the moment is it still says 2020 rankings yeah so it's every edition like you click on someone's name and it tells you they're like oh this is Isaac's generic standing yeah from all the tournaments regardless of addition regardless of army that he's got a lot of those nice different wins yeah so yeah hopefully we'll see some good changes and uh then we'll wrap up there we got a 12k game to play yeah technically 24 in total well you don't call it a 4k game you're doing flex on my you need that clickbait time right yeah 24 okay get in play it but we've done so go all right done see you
