167 - A Gentle Tap on the Shoulder

Psalm 42:1 As a deer pants for flowing streams,so pants my soul for you, O God. It seems I go in circles and cycles. I face a need, these days it’s usually a physical need, and begin the search for answers. Often the search is on YouTube or Google, and no amount of searching quenches the thirst. Usually, the thirst only deepens as the answers provided end with a huge price tag and a huge dose of exasperation. Again and again, God draws me back to what I need first and foremost, which is a big drink of Living Water. There is no price tag on His presence and the outcome is peace surpassing understanding. “I know now, Lord, why you utter no answer. You are yourself the answer. Before your face questions die away. What other answer would suffice?” ― C.S.
