When I first started hunting whitetails trail cameras, computer programs were hardly even anyone's dream, much less a reality. Maps of your hunting country were usually hand-drawn after walking property, who owned the land next door were learned by knocking on their doors, when deer moved was determined from year's of hunting experience, finding your way around in unfamiliar territory was most often accomplished by using a compass. Serious hunters had much to learn and considerable to remember. With the advent of computers and computer programs and apps, trail cameras and the like, much of what it took hunters years to learn and "store in between their ears", and a whole lot more is now available at their fingertips.
