Mijas Pueblo hebben wij maandag bezocht. Ook dit is een pittoresk en traditioneel Andalusisch bergdorp dat bekend staat om zijn witte huisjes. In tegenstelling tot Benahavís ligt dit dorp hoog in de bergen en biedt het op verschillende plaatsen spectaculaire uitzichten over de bergen, zee en omliggende dorpen. Het centrum is zo goed als autovrij. Het dorp heeft smalle straatjes vol blauwe potten aan de muren en mooie pleintjes. Je vindt er veel bars, restaurants en souvenirwinkels.
