168. Hero - Ashleigh Walters, President of Onex

From her roots in Eastern Tennessee to leading the team at Onex Ashleigh Walters has an amazing journey! She shares about how she has been able to lead her team through two major crisis at Onex and the lessons learned along the way.  As the author of "Leading with Grit and Grace" she opens up about the process she put in place to complete the book and how she learned so much along the way.  Ashleigh is big on helping the next generation learn about the many possibilities that exist in manufacturing.  She regularly takes her sons to different facilities to let them experience first hand the exciting world that so many never get to experience unless they enter industry directly.  To her point there is an opportunity for manufacturers across the country to open the doors and give people the chance to learn and be inspired about the amazing products we make as a country.She loves to get out and take a run and shares about some of the cool technologies she's tried that make that even more fun.  Family is important to Ashleigh and she shares about her amazing crew and how they are always there for each other.  Ashleigh is a leader of industry and you will quickly hear why she is our hero!
