168: Went Up Me Sideways

from The Tangent

168: Went Up Me Sideways The Tangent is at its best when there are, well, tangents. And in this episode you get two. As you know we're all about spoilers, so block your eyes, or else know you'll be looking forward to a discussion about the best bond theme song/movie and why half of us like playing old games and the other half doesn't. A classic Tangent conversation. But before that, we've brought Cox back this week, and for all intents and purposes he's kind of on fire. What kind of fire (dumpster?) remains to be seen. Shocking, I know. However, Brian opens up first with just some final thoughts about God of War. I'll say, if you're really interested in what the game has to offer you should go and listen to our spoilercast. It's full of, you guessed it, spoilers. Didn't see that coming, right? Then Brian talks a little Overwatch, just like the good (bad?) old days. It's the two year anniversary and everything is available to buy again. That sounds pretty cool. Next up, Stephen, and he steals two of Brian's shitter games, Retro Highway and The Line Zen. One is better than the other, but we'll let him explain. Following all of that, Cox is up and it's Rome Total War 2. We discover he only likes historical RTS's. We then precede to shit on him for not knowing about StarCraft. He made a big mistake. Finally, Anthony tells us about Okami HD, which everyone shits on him for having played thought the game many times. I don't see the problem. Drunken News Masahiro Sakurai's Super Smash Bros.
