Chapter 11: Justification - This chapter explains the doctrine of justification by faith alone, which means that God declares sinners righteous by imputing to them the righteousness of Christ, not by their own works or merits. Justification is an act of God’s free grace, received by faith alone, and gives believers peace with God, access to his grace, and assurance of his love.Chapter 12: Adoption - This chapter describes the privilege of adoption, which is the act of God’s grace by which he makes believers his children and heirs. Adoption gives believers the spirit of adoption, the liberty of the children of God, the right to call God Father, and the inheritance of the promises and glory of God.Chapter 13: Sanctification - This chapter defines sanctification as the work of God’s free grace by which he renews and transforms believers in their whole nature, enabling them to die to sin and live to righteousness.
