#169: How To Heal After A Breakup

from The Awake With Jake Show

Welcome to episode #169! In this episode I drop in and share how to heal after a breakup. This is the question I answer: "Hello Jake, I appreciate your podcast and the work you do to help us heal and ascend. My question is, my girlfriend no longer wants to be with me. She was very direct and has told me that we are not compatible. I am having a very difficult time with accepting this breakup because I really love her. What advice can you give me for healing myself and letting her go?" Here is a quote that I find very healing: "The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing. how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along." -Rumi Acceptance. You cannot force a person to be with you. Grieving. You have to allow yourself to grieve. Keep your heart open. Take the time to heal yourself and don't distract yourself or you will most likely retreat the cycle. What lessons did you learn from the relationship? Get clear on who you are and what you deserve. Realize that there is a greater purpose behind this happening. When you get what you want, that's divine direction, when you don't get what you want, that's divine protection Bonus: everything is working out perfectly for you even though it may hurt like hell. Sending you infinite love!
