Thursday, August 22 is a historic day for America's commitment, to its democracy and its promise of equality for all its citizens, regardless of race,, creed, color or gender. —— This day is historic in that on the evening of 22 August,  vice president Kamala Harris, a biracial person , a woman of south east Asian and Jamaican descent, will accept the Democratic nomination for president of the United States of America. T Former president Donald J Trump, the Republican nominee for president, opined while being interviewed at the recent National Association of Black journalist convention in Chicago, that Harris "happened to turn black" just a few years ago. His comments sparked disbelief and outrage, for the audience of black reporters, editors, photographers, news Directors and others. —— In the first hour of this 169th episode of Tangazo,  I am joined in studio by Retired journalist LS Lockhart, and for the purpose of this discussion, the mother of biracial children.
