169 \\ When Life Interrupts the Plan
from Reps & Redemption | Christian Wellness, Mom Strength Training, Fitness Motivation, Biblical Health, Time-Saving Fitness, Energy Boosting Workouts, Fitness Goals for Moms, Holistic Health, Health Coach · host Ashley Harvey | Christian Health Coach, Nutrition Coach
Life does not always follow the schedule we create. In this episode, I’m sharing what I’ve been learning in a season of family visiting, homeschool changes, fall sports, a three-month-old, homemaking, training, traveling and trying to keep work and content moving too. I had finally gotten ahead, had plans in place, and then real life happened. Instead of seeing that as failure, I’m learning the difference between consistency and being rigid. Why sometimes the most faithful thing you can do is adjust the plan and keep moving forward. In this episode, we talk about: • Why plans are useful, but they are not masters • The difference between consistency and rigidity • Why changing the rhythm does not mean quitting • How to return instead of constantly feeling like you need to restart, ( a BIG one!) • Why missed workouts, missed uploads, or a disrupted routine do not mean you are “behind” • Holding plans loosely while still being disciplined • What Proverbs 16:9 teaches us about planning and trusting God with our steps Proverbs 16:9: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” Main takeaway: Make the plan, hold it loosely, and keep returning to what matters most. Sometimes the week that disrupted your schedule was actually a week worth living. Please stop by the Youtube Channel on Tuesday or Thursday for a new video! Be bold and live well, Ashley
