17. 3 Steps to Letting Go of Homestead Mom Guilt

from The Farm Family Table⏐Homesteading, Homemaking, Christian Mom · host Jocelyn Jennings

Have you ever felt stuck in comparison? What about homestead mom comparison? Regular mom comparison, or mom guilt, is bad enough, but I think there is something even more toxic about homestead mom comparison. Thinking that you will never be good enough unless you can accomplish all the homesteady things like growing all your own food, raising animals, never eating processed foods or snacks, using only natural products, having a beautiful clean farmstyle home, eating 100% organic, baking everything yourself, homeschooling, not to mention looking good and being in good health. That list is not only exhausting but totally unrealistic, and deep down we know it but still fall into the trap of holding ourselves to that standard. If you feel tired of not living up to what you think your homestead should be, get ready because today we are going to learn to find grace and press into God’s truth when we feel less than in a world of seemingly perfect motherhood.    I hope this episode is what you need to hear today and that it encourages you so much. I pray that this episode will help you move past mom guilt and experience true joy in your homestead through God’s grace.
