17. Breaking Free From Self-Limiting Beliefs with Mindi Huebner

from Electric Ideas with Whitney Baker: Motherhood, Self-Connection, Joyful Living & Self-Care · host Whitney Baker

We all have self-limiting beliefs that hold us back from moving in the direction of what best serves us. It's part of being human. Our brains are wired in such a way that if we hold a negative belief, we subconsciously search our environment and experiences for proof that confirms that belief. However, we have the power to rewire our brains to have more positive thoughts. Over time, this helps us shed limiting stories and show up more authentically.   My guest today is Mindi Huebner. Mindi is an intuitive mindset mastery coach and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner. Her mission is to help women release their limiting beliefs and embrace the confident, wildly successful humans they are meant to be.    Mindi shares with us her definition of self-limiting beliefs, how to stop focusing on the "why" of those limiting beliefs, and how we can use mental rehearsal to rewire our brains.    Here's what to look forward to in today's episode:    -What exactly is a self-limiting belief    -How habits are created based on what you believe    -How to not get stuck in the "why" of your limiting beliefs   -Living at "cause" vs. living at "effect"   -The secret to mental rehearsal   -When women give their power away    Connect with Mindi:  Website: www.mindihuebner.com IG: @mindihuebner Mental Rehearsal Download   Connect with Whitney:  IG: @whitneywoman
