Chris spent 16 years at sea before transitioning to ship management ashore, where he worked for 20 years. Chris is passionate about ensuring that IMarEST members feel coached, valued, and supported throughout their professional journeys. He is a strong advocate for all marine professionals, with a particular commitment to gaining key worker status for those working in the global shipping.He has also just set out the IMarEST's plans for the next three years, which will drive professional standards and ensure the Institute uses its trusted voice to help shape a united, safe and sustainable future for the marine industry.
