Colin takes us on a journey from his early days in Dundee, Scotland to Edinburgh University where he studied Astrophysics as he had a keen interest in Space, before changing direction and moving into multi media and interactive systems. He trained as a web designer and web developer before designing and teaching web design courses at University and teaching lecturers how to create great online courses. As a self confessed ‘geek’ Colin loved coding and playing around with websites. He learned how to podcast and ended up teaching a podcasting course for several years at university.This lead to creating The Podcast Host and starting his own podcast shows. Colin had a dream to not only teach at universities but also to help businesses through podcasting as well.Colin’s background as a university lecturer makes him an excellent trainer with a systematic process to really help budding podcasters get started and grow their podcasts and their businesses.Colin also has another podcast called Mountain Bikes Apart and he chats about mountain biking, equipment and holds interviews with top competitive mountain bikers. This fun podcast that has a really strong following too.Find out the key elements for podcasting success, how to do it and why you must have the commitment to follow through to be a success.
