Sheila melody. Welcome to the show, Sheila.

Sheila  00:56

Hey, Tim, how you doing? Good.

Tim Edwards  00:59

You had a nice trip you just returned from

Sheila  01:02

Yes, I was in Illinois visiting family and it was awesome. We had a big old farmhouse and we all just partied. And it was the best

Tim Edwards  01:09

very different from from Los Angeles. I'm sure

Sheila  01:12

very different. Fun

Tim Edwards  01:14

saw the faces the pictures on Facebook. Looks like you guys had a really great time. And Adam, you've you've taken we've taken a couple weeks off Adam, I liked what you did. There was this one time at band camp. Didn't you go there? Is that right? Did you bring your flute with you? Or what did you learn to play at bandcamp?

Adam  01:33

Yeah, well, I am always trying to learn how to play the guitar. So but I actually got to meet and listen to small little talks given by Steve Vai. Wow. Eric Johnson,

Tim Edwards  01:46

you're kidding. Wow.

Adam  01:47

So you know every time I do I'm Alex. Alex Alex Skolnick played in Testaments. So heavy metal bit awesome. There you go heavy metal band from the 80s Testament. And, and a guy named Mike Keneally, who's also a monster guitar player who played for Frank Zappa as well. I don't know if you know, Steve Vai. His first job out of Berklee College of Music was to play with Frank Zappa. I mean, talking about being gay is working for Frank Zappa. Incredible, you know, which is, you know, he's like the Paganini of rock. I mean, like he, the stuff that he wrote is, you don't have to be a massive musician, even attempt to play his stuff. So yeah, so Mike O'Neill is another Zappa band member, and he, he's also amazing. So um, so we had these jam sessions, at the end of the day, and at night, you know, and here I was jamming with a group of guys, and we didn't have a drummer at the point. At that point. It was a bass player. We had like three guitar players. And now awesome, Mike Neely walks into our jam room and like, we're like you play drums. And so you're there. I was playing cocaine by Eric Clapton. Actually, JJ Cale wrote that but we had Mike Neely on drums. Wow, man in my head. I was like, I felt like a kid in a candy store in your elements. Definitely a highlight of the band camp actually. Having Mike Keneally Listen to me play guitar while he's backing me on drums.

Tim Edwards  03:23

That's That's a dream. Fantastic. Well, Mike top that would you do during your time off?

Mike  03:28

Yeah, everything's great. It's all family stuff. I mean, like, I got baby, so I'm not going anywhere. You know, Alaska or anything I try. I told my, one of my clients told me he went to Alaska recently, and I was like, show me photographs, you know, glaciers and dogsledding and I was like, oh my god, this is incredible. And like I got to do this I went home and I was like, Hey honey, next June I'm thinking maybe guys trip to Alaska. You think I could do that? And she's like Alaska?

Tim Edwards  04:03

for the next 10 years

Mike  04:07

I was like, Okay, I was shot down fast I got my three year old is awesome. He's like a divine Angel one day and then he's like al Qaeda the next it's interesting.

Tim Edwards  04:18

We'll wait till he turns into a teenager

Mike  04:20
