#17. From Skeptical to Spiritual: Embracing the Feathers, Numbers, and Beyond

This is my story, just one person’s story from not using the word spiritual ever in my life to now calling myself spiritually inclined and even an intuitive. This is my story of being open and just being more interested and just wanting a sign from my mom. I share my experience with sitting still in the Gurdwara (Sikh temple) when I was a teenager to going into science and now many years later, how I sit still and connect to my spiritual self and have a belief in something bigger in such a huge way. Seeing is believing right and that’s what has happened to me, and I know, many of you have had the same experience in your own way. Much of this started when my mom passed away when I was 20. I used to think all this spiritual stuff was weird. Then many years along, I started to see feathers and see number signs and get ideas that my mom’s present was around me. I resisted a lot of this for years and then slowly but surely my belief started to change. I was pulled to do yoga, and attend meditation classes, and weekend retreats, and reiki seeking peace and serenity within myself. I moved through anger and stress and other low vibration emotions, that I carried often within me that I didn’t always share with others. I remember crying a lot as a young mom not having my mom around to help me. We are supposed to know the feeling of a deep relaxed state within us all. It’s how life is supposed to be. People started showing up on my path, to support me forward and support me to tap inward more, and what I see now, is that the Universe was putting signs in my way to pay attention. I am here now experiencing inner peace and a connection to the Universe and I allow my inner spirit /inner compass/intuition guide me forward all day long, every day. This is what I wish for you too! It’s so possible, follow along and I will share more as we move forward. The more we trust, in this connection with the Universe and the connection within us, and act and react and live life from this place, we experience this sense of deeper connection and more signs and synchronicities. We feel inner peace and sense of being settled. This is the invisible work that can show up visibly! [And for those who see many number signs like I do, this is episode #17 which was dropped on the 17th of the month!
