And it is not at all about you wishing bad things for someone else, but rather that you are SO wishing you had what they have...or are expecting. It's the ultimate "it's not you, it's me" .Here are some ways to deal with jealousy if you're struggling with your thoughts about it:Examine the real reason WHY you're feeling this way towards someone. Is it because you mean to harm them? I'm going to bet 99.9% that it's a no.Communicate how you feel to anyone who you can- we hold a lot of shame for feeling these things but it always helps to rationalize it and talk it out.Be kind to yourself. You aren't a bad person for thinking these things and like any other emotion, it needs to be fully processed before you can move through it.In this episode, I give some examples of how I conquered my own jealous thoughts and some solid advice about how I help my clients through it. https://navigatingbabyloss.com/workshopFree workshop for moms grieving stillbirth or pregnancy loss.
