from Navigating Baby Loss · host Jennifer Senn

Send Jen a Text MessageJealousy following a pregnancy loss or stillbirth is very normal but can leave you feeling awful for the thoughts you have toward others while you are processing your grief. And it is not at all about you wishing bad things for someone else, but rather that you are SO wishing you had what they have...or are expecting. It's the ultimate "it's not you, it's me" .Here are some ways to deal with jealousy if you're struggling with your thoughts about it:Examine the real reason WHY you're feeling this way towards someone. Is it because you mean to harm them? I'm going to bet 99.9% that it's a no.Communicate how you feel to anyone who you can- we hold a lot of shame for feeling these things but it always helps to rationalize it and talk it out.Be kind to yourself. You aren't a bad person for thinking these things and like any other emotion, it needs to be fully processed before you can move through it.In this episode, I give some examples of how I conquered my own jealous thoughts and some solid advice about how I help my clients through it. Download my FREE "Guilt and Grief Release Journal" at navigatingbabyloss.com/journalWHERE TO FIND AND FOLLOW ME!Website-  https://www.navigatingbabyloss.comTik Tok-https://www.tiktok.com/@navigatingbabylossInstagram-https://www.instagram.com/navigatingbabyloss/You Tube-https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCz-2MCEY5PRiF6p6VB_2lxA
