He has an international research focus on the morphology, stratigraphy and sedimentary dynamics of tropical and subtropical coasts, and the application of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to the study of processes and change in the coastal zone.Some of Colin's research includes 2017 - Integrating millennial and interdecadal shoreline changes: Morpho-sedimentary investigation of two prograded barriers in southeastern Australia 2017 - Geology and sedimentary history of modern estuaries | 2016 - Mangrove sedimentation and response to relative sea-level rise In this episode we chat about sea level rise, storm activity and the coastal processes interacting with wetlands, beaches and estuaries.
