17 - What it Takes to be a Professional Athlete with Dylan Sage.

from The Human Theatre · host Kelsey Buchalter

Hello Humans, and welcome to the 17th Show housed in “The Human Theatre”. Today’s guest is the one and only, Dylan Sage! Dylan Sage, a South Africa Professional Rugby player, has played for the South African Springbok 7’s and Blue Bulls Rugby teams, and played for the French Montabaun and RCHCC teams. He’s a 2x World Series champion, in 2016, Dylan received a Bronze Medal at the Rio Olympic Games, and in 2018 he was named Springbok 7s player of the year, he attended the Commonwealth Games, won Bronze in the 7s World Cup and played for the World Sevens Dream Team in that same year. (I’m exhausted just saying this!). Furthermore, Dylan is a Unisa Graduate, completing a BCOM in Financial Management. Dylan and I geeked out on all things mental and physical resilience, exercise regimes, the importance of recovery, sleep, stretching, targeted nutrient supplementation, electrolytes, concussions and and and. It was truly an amazing conversation. SHOW LINKS: 10% DISCOUNT CODE for OXFORDHEALTHSPAN: https://oxfordhealthspan.com/discount/KELSEY Dylan Sage: @dylansage13 (Instagram), @dylansage11 (Twitter).
