Zack Morgan is a keyboardist, booker, and longtime Austin musician from Coppell, Texas.  In this episode, we get into Zack’s journey through the Austin music scene; starting with how he found his place in it even before living here. We dive into jam band culture, the many collaborations he’s been part of both onstage and off, and the lessons he’s picked up navigating the business side of music. He also shares his perspective on what it takes to make a living as a full-time musician. Along the way, we touch on the Austin hip-hop scene, his time backing local artist Kydd Jones, and the moment Childish Gambino asked him for advice.
