170 Clowning Around at the Asylum

from Language of Bromance · host Richard and Shawn

Back in the 1970's Dr Rosenhan set out to take on a extreme experiment.  By taking people from all walks of life he wanted to prove the lack of care being provided at insane asylums. Taking Housewives, Doctors, Students and Scientist to Insane Asylums all over America.     Each person would tell the same story that they were hearing voices that said a few words.  Once admitted to the Insane Asylum they would then begin to act normal.  The experiment was setup to prove if someone who was completely sane would be able to leave an Insane Asylum.   The discussions go down paths of Shawn's time in an Insane Asylum, Richards love hate relationship with Creed, and Eddie the new fan favorite from The Language of Bromance.   Give a listen to The Language of Bromance in Episode 170 Clowning Around at the Asylum. Every so often their friendship turns to a bitter rivalry with their nerdiest creation the draft episodes. An original take on a best of or a top 10 list. The draft episodes are done like an NFL Draft 7 rounds where Richard and Shawn flip-flop picks on various topics.
