#170 Looking At Death In The Middle

from Catholic Moms in the Middle · host Jennie Guinn

This week’s episode is a personal one. My uncle recently passed away, and being close to that experience has had me thinking a lot about death… and how we, as Catholics, are meant to approach it. We don’t talk about death very often. It’s something we tend to avoid or push aside. But walking through these final days with my uncle reminded me just how sacred that time really is. In this episode, I’m sharing some of what I witnessed, what stayed with me, and how it’s shifted the way I’m thinking about my own life—and my own readiness to one day meet the Lord. This isn’t a heavy or hopeless conversation. It’s actually the opposite. It is about living ready! It’s about slowing down. It’s about what really matters. It’s about living with eternity in mind. If you’ve experienced loss… or if this is something you’ve been quietly thinking about too… I hope this episode feels like you’re not alone in it.
