Fear isn't a factor. It never was. And probably never will. Now there is respect. Respect for how quickly life can flash before you when a simple tiedown strap is overlooked. Bob Dumong now respects every bit of treestand safety after falling 20' to the ground in a nightmare hunt when a strap let go causing Bob's climbing sticks to break away from the tree (seconds before stepping onto his platform). Bob says he now has great respect for treestand safety despite his still fearless mentality.
