from Horsemanship Radio

Ashley Avis recently wrote and directed a modern day reprisal of Black Beauty which will debut on Disney+ for the holidays featuring Kate Winslet as the voice of "Beauty". As a former equestrian, Ashley was shocked to learn about the plight of the mustangs in the West and was forever moved to try to help make change. In Black Beauty, she mirrors Anna Sewell's original intentions of giving voices to the horses of her time by making Beauty a wild horse in today's world. In our second segment, Monty shares his latest discoveries of the natural instincts of the flight animal, both horses and deer.  Listen in... Show Host: Debbie LoucksTitle Sponsor:  Finishline FencingGuest: Ashley AvisGuest: Monty RobertsSupport for this episode also provided by:  Monty Roberts EQUUS Online University and CorroMonty's CalendarTraining Tip from Ask Monty read by Jamie Jennings of the Horses in the Morning Radio ShowPlease follow Monty Roberts on FacebookFollow Monty Roberts on Twitter or on InstagramHear all the shows on the Horse Radio NetworkSupport the show
