Now while this is often used with a negative connotation, I feel there’s a flipside to this concept that can be a positive. Where not exactly fitting into any one group can allow you to pull from many different influences, and combine that all together into something one-of one. This is a dynamic I spoke about with today’s guest, Cakes da Killa, who is a prime example of how this dynamic works as a positive.
