172 : Does Protein Increase your Blood Glucose: Debate with a Bariactric Surgeon Dr. Rob Cywes.

from Dr Karl Goldkamp - Keto Naturopath · host Dr. Karl Goldkamp

Over a year ago I attended a lowcarb USA conference where Dr. Rob Cywes gave a talk. Can't remember what his talk was about but he a statement that the protein you eat turns to sugar. I thought that was incorrect an so waiting in the question line to ask if he would clarify that for me. That didn't change anything. I thought then, and still do that was an irresponsible and primarily untrue statement to make.  One of the people who ran the conference decided to set up debate between us and this is part one of this debate. The thing about going to conferences and listening to the speakers is that we tend to give them credibility that have no earned. We want to like them, in doing so it allows us to be less critical to what they are claiming. Because we want to like them, we don't want to disagree with them because that makes us uncomfortable, maybe even inwardly angry. That was me. The conference, unfortunately wasn't conducive to encouraging one to disagree in public, but if we are collectively going to discuss something that mutually important. We have to have a place to disagree.//COME SAY HI!!!Podcast: https://www.buzzsprout.com/482971/episodesFacebook Group about Keto: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ketonaturopath/BLOG: https://ketonaturopath.com/Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/ketonaturopathYouTube channelwww.youtube.com/ketonaturopathFree Keto Food List: https://ketonaturopath.ac-page.com/keto-food-list-optin//OUR COURSEPSMF 30 day course: https://www.thebiointegrationcode.com/courses/PSMFChallenge//WHERE WE GET OUR WINE (an affiliate link)Dry farm wineswww.dryfarmwines.com/ketonaturopathTHE KETOMETER WE USEKeto mojohttps://shop.keto-mojo.com/?rfsn=3712430.393b9c&utm_source=refersion&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=3712430.393b9c//WHERE WE BUY OUR SUPPLEMENTSWellevate: https://wellevate.me/karl-goldkamp   or call them: 855-935-5382How to use Wellevate https://youtu.be/1ulC0LLIc5cWhy get a Wellevate account to get your supplements??1.
