How to use a Moodometer to help manage and lead your team. Graham's truly 'Life-Changing Question'–Are you ok? Why should we keep an eye out for people around us and ask 'RUOK?' Acronym-ALEC:  Ask–RUOK? Listen-be interested and non-judgemental, and encourage them to speak and feel heard and understood. Encourage–we show we care by listening with empathy and identifying one action they can take to move forwards and encourage that. Check–follow up and see how they are doing. If someone is really 'not ok', what should we do? Encourage them to see their GP, and get connected with employee assistance programs. Don't be afraid to ask: 'Are you thinking of harming yourself?'If they are, get them help-call the suicide hotline with them or get them to a professional/GP. How to create a culture of care for yourself and your team by asking RUOK?|Am I Ok?|Are we ok? His research shows the top 3 factors of high-performing teams: 1. Care for each other, 2. Have each other's back 3. Enjoy themselves. Teams:
 Do we feel connected (like we belong)? Do we feel safe (and free to try new things)? Do we have an attitude of what we can learn from this? Do we share a future? (Can we evolve from this?)
