#173 CYNTHIA LAU INTERVIEW: MISS EARTH CUBA 2021

Cynthia Lau is a twenty-five year old of Chinese, Spanish and Cuban descent. She was born in Holguin in Cuba, but migrated with her family to the USA when she was five.She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University.When she was thirteen she was diagnosed with a gastrointestinal tumor, which taught her to truly live life to the fullest. This led her to work and lobby for cancer research and the importance of prevention through early detection.As an advocate for climate change and wildlife conservation, she works as a global ambassador of the World WildLife Fund and a member of Greenpeace International.
