#173 - Jeff Beck

In this episode we are joined by former editor of Guitar World Magazine Brad Tolinski, co-author of the new book Blow By Blow: The Jeff Beck Story, to talk about the life and career of one of the most important and influential guitarists in the modern rock era. Brad tells us all about the significance of the Yardbirds, how Jeff's playing evolved over the decades, some of the colorful characters he encountered during the writing of the book, why Jeff's playing was crucial to the unfolding story of rock, and much more.  Check out Blow By Blow ON AMAZON. There's also a massive 11-hour playlist that accompanies the book that gives a fantastic overview of Jeff Beck's extraordinary career that you can listen to ON SPOTIFY. Before our interview, though, we pay our respects to Glen Hansard, who passed away on July 29. We hope you enjoyed this episode! We'd love to hear from you!
