174: Interview with George Estioko, Blue-Collar Leader, Bakersfield, CA

from Blue Collar Leadership · host Mack Story

I received an unexpected call on March 12, 2020 from George Estioko. George works on the front lines in the Kern County oilfields in Bakersfield, CA just north of Los Angeles. He has listened to all of my podcast episodes and all of my audio books and has developed a passion for introducing others to personal growth and leadership development. George called me because he wanted to learn how to start conducting book studies using my book, Blue-Collar Leadership: Leading from the Front Lines. On the call, George shared many stories about how he was motivating and inspiring some of his front line team members to start learning about leadership. He also shared some stories about how he was applying the principles in his own life. In this interview, George provides a great example of how anyone at any level can become engaged and start making things happen as they grow and develop 360° influence from wherever they are.
