Overview- To Whom Much Is Given Much Is Required. 1 Timothy 5:17-25. In our message today we continued to read, and I continue to teach on Paul’s instruction to Timothy as to how church members should be treated. Paul spends the entire chapter five teaching Timothy how church members should be treated. And this week in our study of the last verses of chapter five, Paul continues to teach Timothy how to treat the church’s elders, or pastors/overseers, because they are church members also. Paus tells Timothy how to treat them if they are serving the church of God well, and he tells Timothy how to handle them if they are sinning.
