#176 Becky & The Bad Gary

Colorado's death penalty was abolished in 2020. Even before it was abolished, the state followed through on death sentences very rarely, with the most recent execution taking place in 1997. That final execution was for a particularly gruesome crime. That gruesome crime is, of course, our case this week.  It was a brutal killing involving the kidnapping, rape, torture, and murder of a young mother whose only crime in life was being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
