My name is Dr. Jennifer Remnes and my undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Illinois at Champaign- Urbana. I double majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. Believe it or not, I was on a pre-med track throughout college and planned to apply to medical school. The wonderful small town of Chambana gifted me with endless country nights at Kams I’ll never remember with friends I’ll never forget. The small Spice Island of Grenada will forever remain a second home for me. I was fortunate enough to experience an authentic Caribbean culture, obtain a PADI scuba certification and bring home the world’s most handsome souvenir—my heart dog and Papillon, Nutmeg. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Yes, Chicago, Chicago—not the burbs. I grew upa few miles west of Wrigley Field, and I’m absolutely ecstatic that I witnessed a CubsWorld Series championship within my lifetime. Hey Chicago, what do you say?
