Ivonne vervolgt haar wandeling door de tuinen van Kasteel Twickel, op zoek naar sporen uit de tuingeschiedenis. Deze keer staan renaissance en barok centraal. Aanvankelijk lagen bij het kasteel voornamelijk functionele tuinen. Deze bevatten bijvoorbeeld moestuin, boomgaarden en de zogenoemde bleek, maar ook wel berceaus. Daarna volgde een aanleg met veel meer sierelementen. Denk aan parterres, beelden en fonteinen. Zadenbestelling uit 1691 Delen van de tuinen van Kasteel Twickel zijn in de loop der tijd opnieuw aangelegd, in andere tuinstijlen. Speurwerk vanuit de studio levert gelukkig verrassende historische informatie op. Bijvoorbeeld over de 17de-eeuwse renaissancetuin. Er bleef een bestelling van zaden bewaard uit 1691!
