I'm gonna go and take that bicycle. Which bicycle? Then you want that important. We've got a new one too, by the way, and you buy.

Good afternoon, good evening and good night. That's when you finish. No, you don't say that? No.

No, but I'm just saying we've got a new one. You know, you say good morning. These stuff in Wigahawk. That's a good way to play.

Hey, you blame Rick. Rick plays the mind. Yeah, Rick does the mind. Good afternoon, good evening and good night.

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. You're listening to the old talk car podcast hosted by Finarados tonight. We've got the roving reporter and next lesson in the middle, making sure we're safe in security. Hello.

Hello. Hello. Nice, strong voice. It is, isn't it?

So basically tonight we've got a few topics. We've planned. Hang on, wait, wait, wait. You've got to say it at the beginning.

I'm not through the now. I made up for the other night. We ate first. We ate first.

You might want to put it on the times one and a half because we're a bit lethargic because we ate first this time. And now we've come back. MSG, flat out. We're in slavisation.

But we have a few drinks, so we'll keep us going. So basically we've got a good response about the right hand drive, left hand drive. So I did do research. So I'm gonna go through the history and I was sort of half right with the swords, but we'll go through the history of your heart.

Right hand drive, left hand drive. Yeah, yeah, looked it up. So we'll go through that. I also thought, because we, because the report is ZW's food.

I just had a port too. What's that? So did they have insurance claims back then? Oh, you just cut my leg off and just saw what you got on the wrong side.

You wanted to go through the topics and you keep it correct? Sorry, sorry. So we could create a structure. We're at least on this.

So we're going to talk about left hand drive, right hand drive. We're also going to talk about food stops. Yes. Eating on the road.

Yes. Food, food, food, food, tripping, food eating. I don't know. Food while your drive.

Food, food. I'll take it as no matter whenever I have it. So we've got a question as well for the writing reporter. So what about your...

I'll let them about the Mustang. So there you go. So basically, I did some research on left hand drive, right hand drive. And I made a few notes and I broke it down with consonants.

So basically 90% of the world is right handed. Australia? No, 90% of the world is right handed when you're right. Oh, yeah.

When you do things, whatever. You're right. But it feels like two different things, you know. So before there were cars, what people get around on?

Donkeys. Well, okay. Maybe from where fifth was on. But...

Horses, man. Horses, okay. So they would basically mount the horses from the left and control the horse with their right, the reins are on the right. Really?

Which led to left hand drive. So you get into the car from your left. That's one theory, okay? The other theory is, I'll stay with America.

The way America got around was using... Like those old westerns, they used to have those big stage coaches with the horses that were tandem. So two, two and two. So they had like six horses and the big carriage and things like that, right?

So... And then you used to have the riders on the front, on the carriage, sitting on the wood. It was on the left side too. So because they're right handed.

You're gonna maybe look up western news. Yeah, to control the horse. Yeah, but what was the other left? They're still on the left.

Because they're right handed and they can whip and steer and control both horses. What about the right? Where does that break the stick? I'll maybe on the left.

I don't know. I don't know. So basically like the stage coaches, there was no driver's position, but they would always still on the left side to control the horses. Where's the first cars that are in the middle?

No. Say in America, the first cars were left hand drive. Because they followed the stage coach principle. If it wasn't the serial in the middle of those things when I first started making it car.

They didn't make the clearance. Anyway, so when did the right hand drive come? So they didn't make the clearance back then. Back then.

The city was the blaring. So that's America. So, okay, now in Europe, there were images in Pompeii. We're going back to ancient Rome.

Is this because of the volcano that they were... No, because the Greeks had the donkeys. That's why they couldn't get anything out of the vases in Greece. So in Pompeii, there's carvings and drawings, where they used to drive their carts in the middle of the road.

So the Romans were famous for making roads with guerrine, the way the roads are set up now. You've got that sort of arks when it rains. The war goes, sorry, that was developed back in the Roman times, right? Well, the Romans had toilets.

Well, on the side of Rome. No, well the Romans invented toilets. Yeah, yeah. A couple of them.

But you don't have to put them in the boat. That's there. So, and the hand wipers. What did they do?

Yeah, like in Nitti Murphy. Yeah, coming to America. Cut, cut, cut, cut. But when there were two carts, and there was enough room, if there were two lanes lanes, the drivers, the cart went on the right side in the Pompeii days.

Okay, and they found this in archaeological drawings and ruins and things. Yeah, when they dug it up after the volcano, spit it out, it's... So that's Europe. Right hand drive.

Yeah, right hand side of the road. Left hand drive, like America. But why is England the other way? Why because of wanted to?

So, England made the first law in 1669, mandating and how to cross the London Bridge. So basically, the law in 1669 said, whoever's travelling south has to stay on the eastern side of the bridge, which they try to figure it out on the compass, that meant that you're on the left-hand side of the road, hence right-hand drive, steering wheel, you're on the left-hand side of the road. What a line of crock. Yeah.

So that's how England is different to Europe. And then the common was, took over the country and went? Yeah, I'll get to that. So now we've got Asia.

So Asia, there were some British colonies. That's Singapore. Singapore, Malaysia, so it's a handful. Thailand, no, no, Japan was never a British colony.

And Thailand was never British colony, but they drive on the left side of the road, right-hand drive. Japan had no fixed rule. The reason why Japan ended up driving like the English is the English set up their railway system. So if you think about trains, trains travel like other cars do in the country.

So the English developed the railway system in the 1870s. You've got me thinking a lot, though. Yeah, because they're English trains, the English set up their own network in Japan, and they were on the left-hand side of the tracks. So hence, because of trains like that, the Japanese built cars like that.

I wonder who's been studying. Oh, no, a bit of research. What else, when you were here, mate? At least there's a rather gone sleep.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no. These guys are fucking facts. And then what? Just tell us about the sword.

No, no, no, but in Japan, a lot of it's a status symbol where they poured a lot of porches and Lamborghinis, the left-hand drive, because it's a status symbol. I know you go about going through drive through sushi. OK, now tell us the sword. The sword.

The sword was right. You had to keep on the side. Yeah, I've done the wrong side. I've done the sword.

The sword. So that's how, and then Africa is based between English and French colonies. So if there was an English colony down south, South Africa, they'd be left-hand side of the road, right-hand drive, and the French colonies towards the North Ivory Coast and things, they drive like the French. Another thing is the thing we go, and then I went on to boats.

Boats internationally, you sip on the starboard side, which is the way I remember his star, the right side. So every steering is on the right side of the boat, and that way, because you've got to facilitate priori to the right. That's internationally recognized. There's all boats.

All boats are right-hand drive. OK. Pilots, plain seal on the left. The left.

That's right. That's right. But there's no roads as well. Yeah, but both sides got controlled.

The right-hand side on the left. On the left. Right. The front lines.

But in helicopter, it's the right. Why is that? I don't know. It's not really a flat stage.

Two members and regulations. So there's a bit of proper facts with regards to who, and Antarctica, without those roads. OK. Here's a lot of people that Ford, the motor company, the Mustangs, the early ones, 64 and a half, 65, 66, 67, never actually from factory made a right-hand drive car.

Yeah, that's what's on Australia. They've done them here. They converted them. They never had an original.

What's the Australian made here? Oh, the Australian made? Back then? There's a handful of Australian made mustangs.

Are they converted here? Are you sure? They'll convert it here. OK.

I'm going to look down. No, I'm just going to sweat. There was a handful, there's a year or two where Ford made mustangs in Australia. You see like a 64 and a half?

Yeah. Yeah, like a point two. I don't know why they call it a 64 and a half, but anyway. Because it was towards the end of the year.

Yeah, I know, but what were you? So it was a 64 and that's ever done with. Because you want to call it the July of December 64? Yeah.

Because that's easier. Well, it's all the way to the South. I'm going to look into the other case. That's next week's week's week's week.

So it's been shot. It's been modified in Australia. No, your car was... My mum was the 10-draw.

It's an American. It's an American car. But you're saying that no mustangs were built in Australia from the back. So you're saying that no mustangs came from America back then, right hand drive.

Except for the current. Yeah. I'm saying there was a handful of mustangs, a Europe production in Australia. You reckon there was a Europe production in Australia?

I'm going to look into it. Ah, where else? Which side? South Australia?

I'm not sure which factory. Because they were shut. No, no, no. That's right.

So you've got that in Australia? No, but we're trying to say original. Yeah, built from the factory. Right.

That's going to be a hit. No, no, no, no. I'm going to find it. And a tip to pick on last time about, remember the Merck's.

You could say it. Yeah. And it went to do the Slalom and Brawls. And that's what killed that car.

I'm not that car, man. It's an awesome, I had the A1-90. It was a top car. The B, A's and B's.

The first ones. Oh, awesome. I had the A1-90 with the fun shift. It was a five speed with no clutch.

Yeah. And it went all right. And like, you know what made me fall in love with them? The back had a booster chair built in.

Oh, did it? Yeah, your tip. The first ones did. Well, Sam and George just had one.

No, I had a booster chair. You hit a button. And it came up about, you know, 37 years ago. The country guy liked his head.

The country guy liked his head. No bonnet. Like it was. So I get my mates to do it.

And there was no sensors 20 years ago. Don't get my mates to do a reverse park. Thinking, go as far forward as you can. They jump out and they'll be a good leader.

And they'd freak out how much you got. So basically, it's small anyway. Yeah, I'll tie it. I'll do it.

I love their mains and bees. My favorite car. Food. Yes.

If you're fake, just really love. Yeah, I love food. I love my food. Remember, we just came back from eating Chinese.

So we had a good Chinese at the local RSL. Now, I told security guy, we were talking about food. Because we're having food. I remember the year old traditional truck stopped outside of Hay.

We had the hamburger that was buttered. And he didn't remember that. He doesn't remember that. He doesn't make nothing to him.

Do you remember now? He's fine. Are you for real? You stopped coming back from Adelaide when you brought your people.

The way before the big potholes. Remember that she said, be careful the next time this. No, no, no, no. The truck stopped.

As soon as we said potholes fit those remembers because of a incident they had driving. But that pothole made it. And that was gold. Yeah, that was gold.

That was gold. That was massive. So you remember now all the sudden. Yes.

And Marulan, what's on the open? Six o'clock. Six o'clock. He's passing at five o'clock.

So he doesn't get pies. But then I had to mention to him today I ate pies from Oakley. What were they? Why do you plan to give us free pies?

I'll give you free pies. Sorry, I'll take that one back. I've got some pies from a shop. And now there's a couple of there.

So it might not be the same one. Anyway, that's a good one. What pies? Pepper and Snake.

But road trippy. Yes. Where are your must stops? Okay.

Years and years ago, right, when my brother and myself, we've always got to Adelaide. You're originally from Adelaide. Yeah. So that's what was like.

The roads were different. You stopped at actual shops. The servos were just for a thing, you know, what I meant? And to fuel up.

They had basically oil and... Yeah, that's right. There wasn't really a shop. It was like a mechanic's service.

But there was truck stops. Don't get me wrong. But we would leave like at eleven o'clock at night, ten o'clock at night. So it was all night driving and we'll hit like four or five hours out of Adelaide during the day.

And the little country towns like with the wines and back then used to go the backways. Yeah, there was no fuel. So we'd have to go on. Right?

The pie shops you'd find these insane pie shops that would just taste good. But the worst thing was, you'd have to get them at the one time because then you'd try to remember where they were at the other time and you'd never get there. But they'd never get there. And they'd be like 24-hour type.

Back then there was. Yeah. I don't know. Like me, I was like, we tried to do several.

Yeah. That big pie shop there. But McDonald's now is taking over. That's a good food.

And servos have got... Yeah. They tried to get the right food. Because back then it was like fan built.

They used to sell accessories for cars. Spark likes. Yeah. Whatever would go.

It was completely thick. But those take away places back then. I remember once, a long time ago, I'd have to wait for another one. We actually locked the keys in the car because we wanted to get pizza.

We found a pizza shop. Right? And it was a VK Commodore. They just came out.

We just got it up like a Brock. So we're talking about 30 years. Yeah. 40.

Yeah. 80. Right? 80.

Right? And so we locked the car by accident with a motor running. And had a car around the front of it. So I was over 80.

Oh, shoot. I still ordered the pizza. And it came out. So I got the pizza.

Well, it's running. Yeah. Because all these cars we put together, it's just like when we used to drive from here to Adelaide, you don't want us to come loose a lot with the extract the bolts. And other times we had like alternator bolts come off or, you know what I mean?

We'd think so. We'd just quickly check everything every now and then. Because back then, we'd put the cars together. Like I was saying.

Yeah, there was not computers. It was like everything was mechanical. Yeah, that's right. But things used to come loose.

So I used to just go around and talk and nip up everything. You know what I mean? And they would be loose. Because I mean the first time we went there, extract the bolts from missing bits and pieces from missing.

I just happened. So I went there. I went there and popped the bonnet, car browsing and the car locked. I mean, I must have just locked the habit or something.

When in order the pizza came back, I was like, get in. I got in. Yeah, it would be easy to think so. Yeah, the pizza is nice.

You stood up with the pizza for what I thought. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. I remember all the food stops back as if you could find them coming back.

And the one that used to stop that, I'm pretty sure me and your brother, stopped them, we brought the Ferrari from the end drive out. I don't mind that I stopped that. Because you'd hit it early in the morning, hey. No, it was late early evening.

We left that lunch time. We flew the same flight. We flew the same flight. We flew the same flight.

We left the same flight. We left the same flight. We left the same flight. We left the same flight.

We left the same flight. We left the same flight. That's a quick phrase. No, no, no, no.

I was going to suck a cup there. I think I said this a couple of weeks ago, a couple of weeks ago, that Piggy's Souss dine on the way to Vegas. We went to the Piggy Souss dine. We think they've got the apple pie, the car pie, everything's in the 50s, except for the prices.

But it's been happening to me lately. We're not going to the toilet at night. That's a beer on TikTok. This is not the hot pot.

You know what comes up? Heaps of Vegas, like food places to go. There's a place there apparently where heaps of lobster tails. Like you go there and...

It's like a full of up. Yeah. But apparently I shouldn't have recorded it. Yeah, yeah, it's a full shop.

But if you've been talking about the Vegas, you've got to come to see me. You've got to come to see me. You have to come. I'll come to see you.

So, there's a lot made the buffet. You've got to fucking die with the buffet. I'll have the buffet. And all the donut shops.

I said, I'll have the buffet. I can kill you. Take a photo of every day that shop. Mate, I'll see you going with this year.

At the moment, it's my brother. How long? Five nights. Just for Seema.

I'll be over a weekend. Whatever. Whatever. It's over weekend.

I'll come. I'll go. I know when you're coming in. I'll book your tickets.

I've got your name. I'll go. You hear me? I'm going.

I'm up waiting this tonight. I'm going. I'll book tomorrow. We've got to book over the weekend.

Like Friday, Sunday, Sunday. Seema starts it's Tuesday and Friday. So, the show goes from Tuesday to Friday. How do we work that in Australia?

It's the same days. It's like, so we officially go there the weekend before. The Sunday just chill out. If you were to start starting them on Friday, then you could get our accreditation to Tuesday.

Get out, get out, get out, get out. Here at Heart Tuesday Wednesday. We leave Friday. So, when you're leaving from there, you have two days to get here Sunday.

It's only Friday, get here Sunday. Okay, I'll recognize it. So, it's just one week. It's hard work.

You don't have to do it. It looks like you're working for the holidays. I'll be in charge of the place. That's it.

They're going. Security, scaringies at work. We have to listen to Friday. No, those are going to experience in the Boschian cars or putting them together?

Otherwise, the place was the week then. We got a question. Question from Paul, what was the most frustrating part of your rebuild? Would you do anything different?

The fucking wiring. What wiring? It's like a car with a pedal. It's got a cable.

You've added stuff to it. The wiring was like the original wiring. You can buy a original wiring harness for it. Which controls the normal stuff.

But remember, I've got computers, I've got everything connected. Flays on it. We took it to the main wiring. I can say it looked after me.

But the main wiring for the computer and all that was done by someone else. So do you want to have a car plane? I'm not going to be. It's got a big dashboard.

Anyway, they went to Kent from Coppercraft to do a few things. He looked at the wiring and fucking laughed. Because I'm fucking birds and everything. Is this shit everywhere?

Behind the firewall. Is it just shit everywhere? No, it shouldn't be shit everywhere. So why was it like that?

Because obviously you connect one door, connect the other door, connect the other door. I was telling you. It went back there which apparently it's ready now. And apparently it's been labelled and done properly.

Would that affect the electronics if it's all intertwined like that? Well, to tell the truth, if you weren't shopping, it was a 50-50 chance of it starting. And now that they've unwide it? Oh, you don't know.

You don't know. It's ready now. Okay, so what colour would you do if you're different? Yeah, get it wide somewhere else.

I was waiting for you to say buy a really made wire. Yeah, buy a really made wire. You know what? You're already somebody who's stupid enough to spend like 200 grand on it.

Why here's? 400 grand for it. Yeah, and then spend another 50 on it to modify it to what you want. I'll tell you now, that's the way to go.

But if you have money, I would buy a car and spend thousands and thousands on it. What don't matter, but most people haven't got money. So why someone else's project that's pretty good makes it good. There's a lot of people doing that.

That's why they do a lot of things themselves at home. It's like a hobby, weekends and... There's a shit load of people that I know who have had the cars at places. One who is a plumb that was a two-door manara, blown superch...

But insane. He ended up at the end getting the shits because I remember he wanted somebody who had done it. And I just didn't have time to do it. He plumbed and done everything himself.

And I mean, it's a perfection. I remember spinning out over this guy. Who was his background? I think plumb up.

Oh, I can see no idea about that. What do you do? What do you do? I don't know.

As you know, everything is common sense. If you're going to do stuff, it's common sense. You don't put a hose close to something that's hot or you're re-rounding. You don't want to see them.

You put them somewhere smart. It's all common sense. Building a car is mainly common sense. You don't put a tail shaft in it that one should dump the floor that yikes in one millimeter.

You do a little bit of research. You know what I mean? Or you don't measure the tail shafts dangling down and the... So what would you recommend for a professional?

What would you recommend doing at home? Electronics definitely or electrician? Oh, electrician. So you know...

Electronics definitely. But panel word redesign. Try yourself. Do yourself.

Try. You know what I mean? Modifications. Just three day printers.

Yeah. So what can you do with three day printer? You can build a shit-load of things. Yeah.

Three day printers are good. You can do even little body parts. Brackets. Brackets.

You can do a shit-load. In theory of trick parts. Engine-based parts. We've free-do printing.

You know how strong that is? There's all these different composites now that are strong. Because I need to make something free-do printer. Look for some of the free-do prints up.

I'm not sure what I'm saying. But basically what I'm saying is with three day printers doesn't have the light that says ink-load. I see it like ink-load. Oh, no.

No, man. It's like free-do printing. I swear on it. You know what?

Fuck it. You can program things. I'm going to buy one. That's why I want to try it.

I want to know what to print. I'm going to find out how big from my piece I'm going to buy. How big the print is going to be. Well, you're going to print something with your bike.

Yeah. A bash guard for a bully. A bash guard for a bully. A bash guard for BMX.

Yes, BMX. Now it wants to be a mix. Yes. Sorry.

Sorry about that. This is what we need to mine in though. I collect the bully BMXs because when I was a kid, I could never afford one. So if you sold one of those bikes, we could get business class?

Probably. Okay. And how many of those bikes you got? Oh, how many of those?

Upstairs is about eight. And I'll start a good friend of mine is just finishing building my bully bash guard. And how many does your wife think you got? Well, you know, she's shifty because I sung on a new bike.

And I said, let him sell this other one. She goes to me. But you've got bikes. So she went out and brought him another bike.

I've got a few. A few. I want to hang him up at the new, what do you call it? The studio.

The studio on the walls. Stop asking about the studio. We're going to actually record. I've got some news.

It changes in the fleet. The LX5 left. Yeah. Every border.

Vaux bag. A sexy Volkswagen Beetle for my daughter. Beautiful color. Aquar.

Like a sky blue. Awesome. Look at it. Greeny sky blue.

Sky blue. Sky blue. Aquar color. But it's beautiful.

I love it. It's the last of the Beatles. I like how she happened to be wearing the same. Okay.

We've been with the car with my brother last weekend. And she came out. She had the same matching jumper without fucking knowing. That was so funny.

It looks like maybe 90. It looks like maybe 90. It's better than the other ship. That was just a learn and bash.

We've got really early 5 and now I've got something. Now I'll talk about the other one. The Mercury's going back. Alright, now we're going down there.

So basically, we do a live drive in the boot. I post my pictures. It's a top little car. How do we get to the people?

There's nothing else. We're very up and down everywhere. We've already even. If you heard, I need something free, they printed.

And how sick you could make it tonight. Here we have nothing. He's lost his voice for burger. So there you have it.

That you wanted to put it first. Sorry, sorry. If I can't say me. You've got to take it here.

So there you go. So this is what happens to me. It first time. It was true.

Well, because last week we recorded while we were eating. And every other time we recorded, we had a nice dinner. That did not sound bad. It was a good episode.

So, rate us, review us, follow us on Instagram at allTalkCon.com.com.au. Oh, nothing on the raise. Oh, nothing on the raise. Oh, and number three in Automated Podcast in Barbados.

Yum. Yum. So, what I am going to do is say Barbados. What side drive?

What are they on? Okay. I looked at South America. The Caribbean is mainly like America except for one country.

Really? Yeah, I don't know. Oh, and the other thing I'd say China is left hand drive like America. But Macau, the colonies in Hong Kong are like England.

There's a bridge called Google. This kid's the Lotus Bridge. So when you leave China, you go over the bridge. And then when you get to the bottom, it loops.

So then you're on the other side of the road. What about Russia? It's called the Lotus Bridge. Russia is left.

Yeah, right side of the road and left hand drive. Fuck it, hell. I just want to know. Yeah, I just want to know.

And Sweden, I said the 1960s, they changed. Mostly their cars were already left hand drive. Oh, here I've got one for you. Hamilton Island.

Golf cars. Hey, yes, you're right. Golf cars, students on the left, but you drive like you're in Australia. Yes, they're serious on the left of America.

Yeah, I know. Yeah, because the buddies are fucking made, I know it was right. That's why. I swear they don't want to be on the left hand drive.

Yeah, because last time in the episode when you said the Commonwealth countries were right hand drive. Except for Canada. How many people knew that? No, I'm just saying.

We have a lot of time. It's for Canada. Yeah, OK. Canada, what do they do?

They're like a merry car for the backslick. No, no. Good night to our Canadian audience. We've got a lot of listeners in Canada.
