As a fellow Jiu Jitsu practitioner who has struggled with competition anxiety, our host, Josh Mckinney(@thejoshmckinney) will share his recent competition experience and discuss the importance of having a positive mindset when competing. We'll also explore unique ways competitors can use designated winners to their advantage and offer tips for developing a winning mindset. To start, we'll do a recap of Josh's Recent Super Fight. He'll share thoughts and feelings about the competition, including what went well and what could have been improved. Then, in segment two, we'll delve into the importance of having a positive mindset when competing in Jiu Jitsu. Josh will share their own experiences with negative self-talk and offer tips for developing a winning mindset, such as visualization and positive affirmations. Finally,  we'll explore creative winning strategies that competitors can use to gain an advantage. We'll discuss the importance of being flexible and adapting to different situations, as well as offer examples of unconventional techniques that can be used to gain an advantage.
