1789 BC: Jacob Part 2

Jacob falls in love with Rachel and he agrees to work seven years for her father, Laban, to marry her but the deceiver is deceived. At the wedding, Laban marries off Leah, Rachel's sister to Jacob instead. In the morning, Jacob awakens to see Leah. Upon confronting Laban, he agrees to work another seven years for Rachel. After additional years of labor for Laban after fulfilling his obligation, he and his family and their children flee back to Canaan only to face Esau again, an all night wrestling match and the foreign peoples of Canaan.
