179 - Body image, aesthetic physique goals and the patriarchy

I saw a post on instagram that we just have to talk about. A gal said she was struggling with the tension between acheiving her running goals and her physique goals. She felt like it was taboo to have aesthetic physique goals, but that she does and when she's performing at her best, she's uncomfortable in her skin. She also said she didn't have any answers but just wanted to get the conversation going. Welp, I took that suggestion and used this episode to run with it (pun intended, i'm sorry) 🤣 Next steps...
