179. STICKY

from Talking Codswallop · host talkingcodswalloppod

When you say CANDYMAN, CANDYMAN, CANDYMAN! in the mirror you want our next guest to appear. This week Gemma sits down to discuss the magic of Rock candy with the King of the Sticky's; Mr David King.  Dave is one of the creators behind the company Sticky, which is taking the internet by storm with their livestream videos. The story of this company is amazing from how it all began, how it was nearly all over and how the internet saved the company. The lovingly nicknamed Sticky Weirdo's (their fan base) helped to make this incredible journey. Dave shares some of the stories he's received from people expressing how their video's have helped people's mental health and well being and as a watcher myself (yes, I'm Gemma... surprise), I can see why. All of the staff are extremely entertaining & fascinating, while we get a insider view on how to make candy's, or as we would call it in the UK Stick of Rock. These people are officially artists in my eyes and seem to be able to create ANYTHING with sugar.  Salty Tadpoles & Sticky Weirdo's you are all in for a treat with this episode, and a big thank you from me to ALL of the staff at Sticky for keeping me entertained during boring work days. It was a honour to speak to David King about this journey. Thank you to all of the Sticky Weirdo's who submitted questions for Dave.  To follow Sticky on Social Media:  Website: https://sticky.com.au/ Facebook (Main): @Stickylollies Facebook (Sticky Friends): https://www.facebook.com/groups/stickyfriends/ Instagram: stickylollies YouTube: Sticky Australia IF this is your first time listening to Talking Codswallop because of our amazing Guest, please can we ask you to follow Talking Codswallop on Facebook, Instagram + Twitter @CodswallopPod.
